Amanda Sheridan (District Four)

Amanda has long, straight black hair that falls down to the middle of her back. She usually ties it in a braid. She has dark eyes that are bordering between black and very dark brown. she has choclate brown skin.

She is chubby. Not as thin as she would like to be at least. She has supple limbs and unusually long fingers and toes. She is not very tall but not too short either.

She has a very sweet smile if very toothy.Her nose looks a bit squashed but does not look bad on her face. She is fighting a losing battle against acne however. It is unusual to find her without a single blemish on her face.

Andi loves the water as is usual in District Four. She can usually found in the water. She finds it hard to make friends. She thinks that her greatest friends are the ones that live underwater.

She has very fixed views on life. Se will not change them for anything or anyone. She is also not very happy with the capitol. In her opinion the capitol is not looking out for the districts best interests.

She also loves to read anything that she can get her hands on. She does not have much time to do so however. With all of the work that she has to do, it is a rare occurance to find a book to read.

She also has a few trust issues. She finds it very hard to disclose any personal details. However, if you do manage to become one of her good friends she can be loyal but only to an extent. She is not ready to give up her life or lifestyle drastically for anyone. If she is in danger, friendship usually goes out the window.

Amanda was born on the 16th of April into a middle class house in the district. She never had to much trouble with getting food. She accompanied her father on trips to catch fish. It was from him that she learnt everything that she knows from him.

Sadly, her mom had died during her birth but Andi never saw this as a problem. She never knew her mom so other than a few thoughts of who her mother was, she did not think of it.

Her father was devestated but remarried a wonderful woman. Amanda now has a little sister called Anita. Amanda thinks Anita is a bit of a spoilt brat but still loves her sister.

She still goes fishing but without her father. She also has taken up a job cleaning fish at a local shop. She saves up the money so she can support herself after she is grown.

She has an especial hatred towards the Hunger Games. Every year she had seen child after child. Tribute after tribute, reaped. And someone always died. That was inevitable. Many of the years she did not know the children who were reaped but there were a few where her friends were reaped. It was hard thinking about how she would probably never see them again. Once the girl who was reaped was one who hit Andi harder than usual. It was the girl who she used to talk with at school. She had not talked to her for ages but when she was reaped the good times they had came pouring back to her mind.

That was what really made her hate the Hunger Games. She still wanted to train as a Career. Her father had another idea. He decided that, reaped or not, she would not train to kill. She was not to be a victim of the Capitols mind games.

She regrets his desicion though. Her father loves her but she believes that his headstrong opinions just might get her killed. Her greatest fear is that she will be reaped. Her fighting skills are not very good. She secretly tried to train b y herself. She failed miserably and resorted to watching the Careers train. While she did pick up a few tips, she will never be as good as they are.

This is the first character that I have ever created. Please tell me if this is okay!! And please tell me how I can improve!
