Aqua's never been very pretty in the traditional sense. Sure, if she put in an effort boys would look twice at her, but she mostly just fades into the background...which is the way she likes it.

Aqua's tan, of course, as most district four kids are. She has brown-red hair that's usually in a ponytail, because, really, who has time to mess with it?

Her eyes are a light green-blue. She's small and slim, which makes it easy for her to climb into small places and hide when she feels surrounded by people.

Personality:

As stated above, Aqua loves to pretend to be invisible. She's always been average in everything-swimming, school, etc. The only thing that would let her stand out is her singing voice. However, she only sings at home in front of her sisters. She tries to avoid crowds except when completely necessary, like during the Reaping.

Aqua's known for being quiet and shy. When she is asked a question, however, she's painstakingly honest. She's the type of girl who would tell you how horrible you look but smile while doing it (in a non-sadistic way). She is kind of socially inadequate but doesn't sit alone at lunch; she just doesn't participate in the conversations.

She is similar to her deceased father in several ways, not just the shyness factor. She can sit back and listen to instructions and follow through with them, though the work won't always be correct.

History:

Aqua was born as the second oldest child. Her older sister, Molly, is seven years older than her and is happily married. Marriage has never really held an appeal for Aqua, but her mother nags her about it every time they go into town.

After Aqua was born, her mother had two more daughters, Blue and Coraline. They're Aqua's best friends, even though they're two years and four years younger, respectively. Both of her sisters are more extroverted than her, but she's still more level-headed.

Her father died when she was twelve years old in a sailing accident. Her mother wasn't as torn up about it as she should've been, and married Aqua's step-father, Triton, ten months later. As much as he tries to make nice with Aqua, she's still skeptical of his fathering abilities.
