Behr Caval <> District 4

Behr is just less than six feet tall and weighs roughly 140 pounds. He has a thin body, and a lanky body-build; his shoulders always remain slightly bent forward. His arms are not the strongest arms in the world; in fact, they may as well be the exact opposite as they are fair haired and gentle arms, dotted with little brown spots. His palms are a rectangular shape, his bitten nails completing his quite stubby set of fingers. His legs are long and well-muscled from horse-riding, his shins and knees are painted with the same fair hairs that grow on his arms and his feet are narrow and flat with squished toes caused by shoes.

Behr’s face is a soft, rounded shape with a few sun-caused freckles collecting on his cheeks and in his facial A-zone. Thick eyebrows that caress his brow bone live above his dark gray-green irises. The lips that surround his mouth are slightly pumped up, but not too much for anyone to notice as ‘big’. His jaw is spotted with trimmed stubble and the always-cut facial hair fades near his faint Adam’s apple, which moves up and down like an elevator whenever he swallows something. His hair just passes his jaw and is coloured in a chocolate brown hue, with lighter highlights from whenever the sun kissed his scalp. His hair is textured soft and fluffy, even though split ends ruin the tips of the thin ropes. His forehead is always hidden because his hair is flicked into a rather messy side-fringe.

You will often see Behr in riding boots, knit jumpers, long-sleeved over shirts, checked shirts or simple under layers on exceptionally hot days. He doesn’t wear eye-catching clothing because he doesn’t like people looking at him; it makes him feel happier if he has more personal space. His hands usually have black fabric gloves slid onto them in the cold weather, along with a beanie and a scarf if necessary.

Behr is more of a solitary person; his teamwork skills are very rusty. Co-operation was never his high point and he has always been quite shy, despite the fact he has a job that needs positive showmanship. He’s not very good at talking, especially publicly. Last time he prepared a speech for anything, he flushed into a fit of going pink. He makes friends quickly but only starts to trust them after a long while. As Behr is a protective boy, he will defend his few friends in any way possible by taking the blame or by telling lies to keep them safe.

When Behr is angry, though it doesn’t happen often, he tends to get slightly aggressive and take his anger out on useless objects and at other times, he just gets depressed and cools down somewhere alone. At sad times, which aren’t as rare as aggressive times, Behr goes to a cliff near the beach and sits in the sea breeze, occasionally sobbing his eyes out, and just spending his time chilling. Stress usually gets the better of Behr and causes his to go to his cliff hideout and watch the waves. If he gets any negative emotions, he starts biting his nails to pass time. Sometimes, he doesn’t really have anything to bite because he bit them all to the root the previous day.

Behr gets upset when he gets a bad score in school. He is diligent and is thought to be intelligent by his teachers too. Perhaps his only flaw is science and part of maths, his weak spot of physics and shapes won’t get him on the track to a science or geometric career. Behr never gets scolded in school; he always does as he’s told. It’s surprising he didn’t become a snobby or spoiled boy. Behr is usually best at art, and lots of people have been fascinated by his sketches and drawings of horses and landscapes, his favourite two things in the world. His silent personality usually leads him to being easily flattered.

Behr lives with only his mother, a thirty-six year old woman that only ever had little Behr, no other children. Behr’s father lost his life when he went on a crew ship to go deep-sea-fishing, or at least that’s what the Capitol informed them. Behr’s “family” has plenty of money since his father’s job of regular deep-sea-fishing got them special wages and such. Each time Behr’s father went out to sea, he risked his life for the upkeep of his family, which was a brave yet vain thing to do. Behr’s mother worried and worried until the father died and she disallows any mention of him in the house.

Behr has a horse stable behind his maison where he keeps a pair of sturdy horses named Arctica and Atlantic. The marvellous mare twins area gentle, quiet horses that only respond to Behr himself. Arctica is a white horse with fluffy hooves and a grey mane and tail whereas Atlantic is a grey horse with a white mane and tail. Behr rides both every day on balance to keep them both occupied. Truth is, sometimes Behr is risked with the fact to sell out one of his horses, which he hopes will never happen. He found the two horses in a barn up north of District four, not near the beach, and an elderly yokel sold it to him happily for only a few coins. Behr raised the foals to where they are today, tall, muscly mares that live in his garden near the cliffs.

Behr has a hobby for art and horse-riding alike, especially all things to do with the autumn beaches in District four. He probably obtained the artistic skill from his mother, who used to be a painter. She’s “retired” now, due to lack of motivation and ideas. For some peculiar reason, Behr still has simulation and a continuous current of ideas. Also, Behr has a particular interest in wading in the sea as well, despite the fact it was the exact same waves that managed to swallow his father up. Behr would never want to go fishing, like the majority of male teenagers in District four. He has signed up for a few cold-water swimming classes and found he had the upper hand, but he would only go every fortnight, due to his full schedule.
