Felix McConnell (District 4)

Felix is a very handsome young 17-year-old man. To start, he has short, dirty blonde hair. It is always somewhat messy, no matter how hard he tries to smooth it out. Some girls think it makes him look more handsome when his hair is slightly messy, but he dislikes it. He has slight bangs, which usually don't look very cute on guys, but he can pull them off well.

His eyes are some of the most captivating eyes you'll ever see. They're a beautiful clear blue, the color most people wish they had. They are set just right, and most people think they are just the right size. His eyelashes are short and blonde, so you can hardly see them. His eyebrows are set right above his beautiful eyes, blonde but thick.

His nose is a bit larger than he'd like. The bridge of his nose is about normal-sized. The tip is rounded, which adds to his "cuteness." He has abnormally large nostrils, but you can't really tell unless he flares them or you stare at his nose for a long time.

His lips are a pale pink color. They are also rather thing, which is another thing he doesn't really like about himself. His smile, however, is perfectly straight. He also has cute little dimples, which add to his virtually irresistible charms. When he smiles his beautiful, pearly white smile, most cannot resist smiling back at him, no matter how angry or sad they were.

Felix's ears stick out more than most people's do. They are also kind of large, which makes him look a bit younger than he actually is.
Overall, Felix has a very pretty face, and has no problem with getting lady friends.

His body is pretty muscular. He doesn't have a full six-pack yet, but he has a four-pack. His arms and legs are pretty bulky as well. He stands at exactly 6 feet, and is still growing. He weighs around 175 pounds, which is a pretty satisfying weight for him. His height mostly comes from his long legs, but he also has a pretty long torso. He has large, square shoulders, which he still has to grow into a bit.

Felix has rather large feet. He is embarrassed by them, because he thinks he looks like a clown, but his father and mother always tell him it means he will grow even taller than he already is. His mother likes to add that "No one will notice that flaw, because they'll be looking at your handsome face."

Felix usually doesn't blush that badly, but when he gets nervous or embarrassed, he has a little quirky thing he does. He tugs on his shirt or shoves his hands in his pockets and looks down. He tries not to do either of these things, but it's an unbreakable habit.

He usually wears plain-colored t-shirts. His favorite color is blue, so he is often seen wearing a t-shirt of that color. His pants are usually either jean pants or jean shorts. He hates khaki pants. He has four pairs of shoes. One of them are his everyday shoes, which are plain black sneakers. His others pairs are white flip-flops, fancy brown church shoes for special occasions (like the reaping), and worn-out, old white sneakers for working.

Felix walks like a model. His broad shoulders always set back, brown-blonde hair blowing in the wind, head held high, long strides with his lengthy legs, and arms slightly swaying. And, of course, a smile is always spread across his face wherever he goes.

Felix doesn't like people who are cocky and arrogant, so he tries his best not to be. He is always very modest and humble with everything he does, which isn't too hard for him since the only talent he has is the talent to draw. He's just District 4's "Pretty Boy", which infuriates him.

Felix isn't very bright. Things that are simple tasks for the common man pose as a great challenge for this simple-minded boy. He tries his best at everything he does, but he always screws up, somehow. Because of this flaw, he has a hard time finding work and barely scrapes by.

Felix is a very determined guy. He tries to show he is more than just handsome, but he always manages to dig himself into a deeper hole when he tries this. The only thing he can manage to do is art, but he doesn't have many supplies to do so because of his lack of money.

Felix really enjoys laying in the grass and watching clouds, because it's something anyone can do. He also likes enjoying the things around him, like the singing of birds or the beautiful nature of trees. Perhaps his favorite thing to do is draw pictures or sculpt. He usually just uses a stick and draws in the sand.

Because Felix isn't too smart, he gets into trouble a lot. He's also very frightened of needles of any sort. Syringes are especially horrifying to him.

Felix doesn't have an amazing history of any sort. He's just an average young boy in District 4. His family consists of his two parents, Jarred and Ember, along with five children, including himself. He has a younger sister named Esmerelda, an older brother names Boq, and two older sisters named Viola and Mary. Each year, they take turns taking tesserae for their family.

Felix is an average District 4 boy, so he fishes for a living. He tries his best to make money for himself and his family, since they are rather poor, even with all five kids and their father working themselves to the bone every day.

The scar mentioned in his Appearance was the result of a fishing trip when he was only six years old. His father was fishing in the ocean, while Felix was right behind him, drawing in the sand. His father whipped the fishing line backwards. It sunk into the base of Felix's back. Before Felix had time to yell, his father had ripped the fishing pole forward. He did it with such force that the hook went all the way up Felix's back and tore out a long line of flesh. Felix could've bled to death if he hadn't been rushed home where his mother accurately patched up the wound.
