James Fox, D4

Head
James has longish blond hair and thin eyebrows. His eyes are somewhat squinted and are pale blue, and light up when somebody says something funny. His nose is a little big on his face. His small mouth, almost under most circumstances, is smiling. Because of this, his face has dimples near his mouth.

Body
James has a thick neck compared to his head. His arms are medium-length, not skin-and-bones but not super beefy. His fingers are long, tense from muscle memory of the knots they learn in school. His legs are long and powerful from swimming.

Overall
James is 5 feet and 11 tall and slightly tan from the sun. He usually wears a blue shirt. He has that kind essence to him that makes you instantly relax.

James is always eager to please. To him the greatest accomplishment in the world is to brighten somebody's day. The downside: he tries too hard to make people happy and a) makes the people he originally was trying to make happy happy but another group of people feel negatively about what he did or b) the stress gets to him about if people like him or not.

When the stress gets to him, he usually tries to blow it off but is never successful.
This results in negative thoughts, and inability to do the things he wishes to do or doesnt perform as well in general.

he is bullied because he sticks up for other kids who are getting picked on. Again, he is just too eager to please to stick up for himself. As a result, he is continually becoming more stressed out. He feels like he let the people bullying him down

He enjoys swimming around the sea in the less polluted parts because he likes the feeling of weightlessness. He doesnt have a lot of time for this, between school and work. But fun nonetheless. He likes where he works: diving for oysters off of a small boat. Hes an average student, but enjoys school a lot because he gets to see his friends.

He was born into a family of four (including him): Charlie, his father, Aimee, his mother, and his brother, Zeke, who is one year older than him. Charlie was the captain of a large fishing boat and Aimee is the cook at a restaurant.

He talks a lot to his father about his life now that hes at home. His father is very caring but sometimes gets drunk because he blames what happened to the family on himself. His mother is not around as much but helps James with his homework and things because she feels sorry shes not around as much. His brother is kind of neutral, doesnt interact with James very much regularly but plays jokes on James when they do. Zeke took notice of his wanting to please by making him do his chores.

When James was six, his father was hauling a net in which had a shark in it. The shark proceeded to wriggle free and bite his father's arm off. Not only were the medical bills staggering, his father could also not continue his line of work. The family had to sell their house and get a cheaper one.

When James turned 14, he applied to be an oyster diver to help support the family. Not only that but also because he liked to swim underwater and was fairly good at it. His boss, Cpt. John Vector, kind of took him under his wing and accepted his job application. James has been working there for a year now and loves working there after school.
