Name: Annebelle Santings
Age: 17
Gender: Female
District/Area: District 9
Appearance:
Though older than most Hunger Games participants, Annebelle has the appearance of youth. Her face is oval and smooth, with sharp contours of the face, a prominent nose and high cheekbones. Her hair is a different story. The beautiful, long locks (her favorite feature) are gold, tinted with a slight under layer of bronze. It falls just below her shoulders in curly spirals, and she keeps it nice and smooth. Annebelle has bright blue eyes, reflecting brighter when she looks at the sky. Flecks of gold rim her pupil and on the edge of her iris is rimmed with a deep sea green. Her eyes are oval, as her face is, and they are as round and large as a deer's.Personality:
Annebelle has a slight figure, probably from working long hours and getting little compensation. Her arms are slightly muscular from lifting buckets of water to her house from a well a mile away for her family of five. Since District 9 is mainly factory based, and long hours are spent indoors making soap, Annebelle's skin is a creamy, pasty color that verges on the edge of paper white. Few freckles dot her skin, and the ones that do rest on the bridge of her nose.
Annebelle is rather short, which makes her wiry figure seem to shrink when she wants to disappear. Though bony, her fingers are nimble from years of making items for the Capitol. Her legs are strong and she's quick from years of running from potential dangers in the factories. She, although great at climbing, is afraid of heights.
How does one pinpoint a person's personality when they never talk to anyone besides the ones she loves, never enjoying life, never being her self, always caught in an unforgiving shell. She was brought up with hatred, in both with her, her family, the Capitol, and everyone around her. Her mother was the main instigator of her personality, always taking her down. She began a silent streak, only talking when she was talked to, and when her mother still brought her down, she began to have violent outbursts.History:
Though seemingly calm at first glance, Annebelle has a constant amount of anger boiling inside of her. This is a major disadvantage to her as little things in life set her off. The constant chirrup of a bird, something that hurts her (physically) slightly, an order that is unfair to her, could turn her on a rampage, snapping at people, hitting them, ect.
Though she has a somewhat not-so-good demeanor, she does have some good traits. She tries to find kindness in the things that she does, so she can try to make up for the times that she did not act so kindly to them. She is very intelligent, and passed school with flying colors (she dropped out of school year early so she could earn more money for the family). She is also very observant, which makes her decisions well thought out and precise.
About seventeen years ago, Annebelle Marie Santings was born to Misey John Santings and Marie Johanna Santings, the youngest of all of her siblings (there are four others). She grew up into a cheery young child, who loved to play outdoors with her older brothers. She became close to her father, as her mother seemingly became more and more attached with life, drinking more and caring less about her children. However, at the age of seven, her father was in an accident at the factory where he worked, blowing off his left ear and leaving his left eye blind. He saw Annebelle less and less, as he gradually lost himself to the damage done to his brain. He still lives to this day, but cannot comprehend anything. Annebelle still loves him and refuses to let him die.Codeword: <img src="http://i41.tinypic.com/16h2ibt.png">
After her father's accident, her mother absolutely lost herself, by drinking herself to sleep and totally ignoring her kids. On the rare occasion that she did, it was only to Annebelle. She hit, abused, said terrible things to her. Annebelle's only escape from her mother's torment was school, where even the kids were cool and distatched from her. Many were afraid of her, because the angry outbursts had begun.
Around the age of thirteen, Annebelle began to transfer her mother's anger to her own anger. She took it out on her siblings, her mother (who, at the time, was constantly wasted by both drugs and alcohol) and, at times, her father. She, at the age of 16, realized the outbursts were irrational and began to find school monotonous (she actually liked it as a child) and dropped out to earn more money for her father's health.
She began to train, to become fit, and she now hopes to enter the Hunger Games. :3
