Copper Black *District 9* {Complete}

Copper's appearance is very similar to that of his fathers. He is 6ft 2 making him at height level with his father as well. He is of a medium build with broad shoulders. He does however still look Scrawny and people often think him the weaker being. Due to helping his Dad, who is a blacksmith in district 9, he often has soot on his face resembling war paint on his slightly tanned skin. He has a rather large birth mark running from behind his ear to his neck and he finds it annoying.

Copper's eyes are icy blue, but seem lifeless. His gold/brown (The reason for his name) hair falls into his eyes slightly and is cut short on the back and sides he is always fiddling with his hair even with prompting from his sister to stop. He has a strong jaw and straight teeth but he has a chip in his front tooth due to a hard fall as a child. His shy smile catches the heart of any girl who wants a guy who cares.

Copper is what some may call Shy or others antisocial. He likes spending time on his own. People have tried to get him to socialize but he seems to withdraw. He has never liked crowds and gets very agitated if he happens to be in one.

He has a little respect for the capitol and when he sees a chance may Rebel. He is compassionate and kind. He cares truly about people but more than anything, his family.He is however annoying and repetitive. (Out of choice) He is untrustworthy due to his situation at home. He is extremely judgmental causing him not to get on with many people.

One down fall is his temper, he lashes out at anything and everyone, even the workshop wall. He never tries to control his temper for he never sees the point. He lashes out when people speak bad about his family or he gets humiliated but more often than not he lashes out for no reason, he calls it 'venting'. When he does lash out he lashes out with words and sometimes physically meaning he may and can break noses. These tempers scare his sister and anyone around him.

Copper had a normal childhood Mother,Father and 2 siblings, all of which he loved dearly. His father is a well trained and experienced blacksmith, his mother a seamstress(Though she never worked). Things were great for the small family until Coppers mother died a sudden death of which to this day no one knows the cause. The family life spiraled down hill. Coppers father started drinking large amounts which often left him incapable to care for his 3 children so Copper had to take charge and look after them all.

Copper struggled to come to terms with the loss of his Mother, so tries to spend as little time at home has possible. It was one February night his troubles worsened. He came home after fetching some food for him and his sisters, his Father was drunk as usual. He fed his sisters and went to his Father and that is when his father told him to turn around, which he did. His father removed his belt and hit out at Copper who would not fight back. After finishing with Copper his father fell asleep, but from that day on these 'meetings' have become a daily thing.

Copper never fought back for the sake of his two sisters, one of whom passed away at the age of 5 causing Copper more grief.
Copper continued to help his sister and still does. His father got only a little better over the years but then got worse again. Copper grew up working hard and fighting and continues to do so. He blames himself for his mothers death, this lie fed into young mind by his father, of course.
