Jasik from District 9

Jasik has black hair that hangs haphazardly down to his shoulders with bangs that are in his eyes, which he usually has swept carelessly to the side. His skin is pale and he's scrawny, yet surprisingly strong. He is of medium height. His eyes seem to change color slightly in different lighting, but they always stay at least partially hazel. He wears a pendant with a wolf's head image. It was given to him by his father after he successfully defeated a wolf for the first time.

Jasik mainly keeps to himself, but he's fiercely loyal to those who he becomes friends with. He isn't particularly liked by those around him, but nobody really dislikes him, either. He doesn't have a lot of friends but is more than willing to become friends with anyone who earns his trust. Most people would think that he would stick to himself if he got into the Hunger Games, but he would actually probably try to get some allies, particularly his district partner. Jasik is intelligent and does well in school. He's also very resourceful, seeing as he comes from the hunting district. However, he never really got the hang of a bow, yet he's valued on hunts because he's extremely stealthy, good at making traps and snares, and is handy with knives and shortswords. Jasik has a habit of letting his eyes wander back and forth, as if looking for potential threats. His eyes are sharp and his hearing is good, another reason why he's valued on hunts. Jasik is quick and agile, and he can climb very well. He is fairly tricky, sly, and cunning.

Jasik comes from a family in the lower class and he has four younger siblings, all too young to be in the Hunger Games, and therefore ineligible to sign up for tesserae. That means Jasik has to sign up for a lot of tesserae every year to provide. His father is a good hunter and is very good with a bow, so he was frustrated when his son could not get very good at it but he's proud of his melee ability. His mother is sickly and needs help to take care of the young children, which means that Jasik winds up taking care of them a lot. The other hunters were originally reluctant to let such a young boy come on hunts with them, but they decided to let him learn from them regularly after seeing his trapping abilities and how good he is with swords and knives. He usually goes on hunts on the weekends and gets lessons from his father after school every day. His father's secret motive is to find that natural marksman in his son, but so far he can't get the hang of it. Jasik gets bullied a lot by his peers, but he privately believes that if he got picked for the Hunger Games and won, he'd have their respect.

Jasik is now a member of a group led by Aridosole that as of yet is nameless (I think). Jasik is also married to Clove's character Zoe. Kyra and Clove both left, so neither of those are valid anymore.
