Christine Maask, 10

Christine is 5'0" and very slender. She has dark skin and black hair with large, vivid green eyes. Her hair is waist-length and she keeps it in a ponytail or bun. Her face is delicate and pixie-like. Her nose is small with a slightly upturned end. She is not exactly flat-chested, but she is still in the process of developing. She doesn't have a super curvy figure, but what curves she has she hides. Her ears are small and her cheekbones are high. She is often seen sporting bruises and small cuts from fights she gets in.

Christine is slightly stronger then average from working with animals. Her muscles are slender, not bulky. She has a thin scar high on her cheekbone from when she was too close to a bull and the bull turned its head, causing the bull's horn to slash her cheek. Her hands and the soles of her feet are caullosed from working with animals.

She is shy. She has a good sense of humor, but cannot stand being laughed at. Though she is not physical, if you laugh at her or insult her (or in some other way anger her), she WILL find a way to get even. This usually leads to a fight that she loses. Sometimes, however, she gets carried away and goes overboard, blinded by her temper. She is a little vain, occasionally spending up to an hour brushing her hair and picking an outfit from her very limited wardrobe. (Black shirt or white shirt to go with my only jeans?) Christine spends most of her time outside with the chickens or dancing.

She loves to dance and is rather good at it. Whenever she attends a party (which is rare) she will always work in a dance. She loves the animals on the ranch she lives on, especially the chickens. She flat-out refuses to slaughter the chickens, and will try to evade her job when it is her turn to slaughter the other animals. When she can't get out of it, she'll do it.

Christine's only physical skills are climbing. She is a slow runner and is a bad fighter (many a time she's gotten beaten up). She will often climb a wall or a tree to get away from her pursuers, but she prefers to rock climb as she had a traumatic experience once. However, Christine loves heights.

Christine was born to two loving parents (who died before I made this because I didn't want to rp them.) She lives with her 16-year old brother, Nick, whom she loves and admires. Together they run a small ranch close to the town.

When Christine was nine, she was climbing a tree when a dead branch broke. She plummeted to the ground and sprained an ankle, but she has disliked tree climbing ever since. When she was eleven and a half, her parents caught pneumonia and died. Christine and Nick were both devastated. She spent the first three days sobbing; then Christine spent most of her time outside climbing, attempting to escape the pain. After about six months, her brother realized that the ranch was going to ruin and forced her to start working. Eventually, she (mostly) blocked out the memories of her parent's deaths and attempts to think of them only as alive, happy people.

Christine and her brother survive. They have food, water, and shelter, but precious little else. She loves their ranch, which has a small house, a chicken coop, a small barn, and a pigpen. Christine raises the chickens on the ranch. When she was twelve, after recovering from her parent's deaths, she started going to the market every market day and selling eggs, roosters, and chicken pot pie.
