Andre Lethal; District 11

Andre Lethal is a young man from District 11. That fact a lone has a lot to atribute to his stature. Andre's blood of African descent makes him very tall standing around 6'5 feet tall. His height would be impressive on his own, but he has more than enough lean muscle mass to make him a giant to those born rather short. He isn't bulky by any standards, but he isn't one to mess around with. His body is gained from his constant hard work in the fields.

While most people can't get a good look at his face, his is a bit long with high cheeck bones and cool brown eyes. His hair is a dark brown woven into dreadlocks in a method he learned from his grandfather. He is usually seen smiling despite his surroundings.

Andre's personality is a bit different depending on exactly who he is talking to. For starters, Andre is normally a happy individual. He can constantly be seen around the District with a smile on his face. His smile can usually inspire others to smile despite his large size. Especially children who Andre spends the majority of his time with.

However, like said earlier, he personailty changes heavily when dealing with authority figures. When it comes to people like the peace keepers Andre's normally happy demenor becomes serious and docile. It's as if he freezes up with fear. With authority his words are short and quick.

Thelast big personailty factor of his is around white people. District 11 has a high, if not the highest percentage of dark skinned people (as referenced in the books). When he's around ligth skinned people he tends to get uneasy. He tries to keep his happy tone, but can eaily seem forced and uncomfortable.

Andre Zande Lethal was born to a family of farmers in Districl 11, the agricultural district. His family was quite large begining with his grandfather and his three sons. Those three sons each had their own families totalling 9 grandchildren. Andre was the oldest of them all.

Despite the toils of District life, they got along fairly well. Never too much trouble from authoirty whom Andre also seemed to tense up around. He began to work the farms right when not at school. But, like most stories tragedy had to fall somewhere. The three sons who worked together on the farms suffered a acident. It was never clear to Andre what exactly happened, but things sure did change since then.

His grandfather slowly turned ill and unable to work. Andre decided he would take up his grandfather's shifts to earn the money for his grandfather and his 8 brothers and cousins. The more work he did the tougher his body became, yet, it really wasn't enough to feed them all. It was then that Andre met a Peacekeeper who had found him a job for a lot less time and a whole lot more money.

The Peacekeeper and some of his other friends had a small fight ring they ran for themselves, and the higher ups of District 11. Andre defiently had the body for it, but the setting didn't fit well for his personaility which had normally always worn a smile. But for his family's sake he agreed to fight. Over time his skills got better and better resulting in a high payout as time went on.

Nowadys the Peacekeepers usually let him take it easy on the farms so he can fight for them. His family knows not of what he does, and Andre keeps the secret hidden well behind that constant smile of his. Now in his free time he likes to play with his brothers and cousins and their friends. Keep them entertained and happy. It's one of his last true joys.
