Appearance:

Aradia Sylver snatch is an agile, short and scrawny fruit gatherer. She has long black hair that blends in with the shadows that she hides in. Aradia is fleet footed, and has olive skin. She has small, quick hands that are used for many different things, from fruit gathering to stealing.

Aradia has large green eyes, the color of a summers leaf. They change with the weather though, green for rain, and blue for open skies. She does this because the change in pressure effects the hues of her eyes. She also has incredibly long fingernails, usually described as talons.

Her thin face is narrowed to a point, and her hair never seems to like being brushed, no matter how hard or long Aradia tries, it is to no avail.

Personality:

Aradia is a sneaky, suspicious character, who is a known thief in her district. Her small quick hands are perfect for what they do, and are used well for her means of survival.

Arada is distrustful, and would stab you in the back, if you ever turned it on her at least; no one does. They've all been targeted once of twice by the slippery thief they can never prove guilty.

Aradia is very down to earth though, and pessimistic. The glass is 'half empty' for her. Too many terrible things have happened for her not to be. She has the instincts of a wild animal. Simply by sniffing a berry, she is able to determine how poisonous it is. Her mother taught her the art of healing, but she never really took to it; but she did keep the useful knowledge of plants. Because of this particular trait, her community knows her as "Wolf".
One of her fatal flaws, is that she never sticks around for a battle, and could run right into a trap. If you left a net on the floor in plain sight, and Aradia was hungry, she would eat the net. Aradia isn't very good at communicating, because she has never needed too. She lives in a secluded area, that shall never be revealed to all but her closest family and friends.

She loves her little brother with all her heart, and feels bitter towards all other human beings. They are merely a way to sustain her and her brother. Aradia once loved, but once her lover died, she vowed never to love again.

History:

Aradia was born into a pure blooded district 11 family, a large, and often suffocating mass of people. She had 7 brothers and sisters, but Aradia watched as they all got killed by "accidents" One by one, until there was only her and her brother; Bartholomew left.

During the harvest season, Aradia is as hard of a worker as anyone in her district, climbing up to the tops of the trees, and taking dangerously placed fruits down, but the rest of the year she spends just trying to live.

Her brother Bartholomew is only 3 years old, and her parents are both dead; the same way her whole family is. She has to provide some how, by stealing little pieces of fruit here, or a snippet of grain there. She is also funded by her constant pick-pocketing.

She has a fueled hatred of the games, as she has seen countless teens go in, and only few come out. During the 14 years that she has lived, she has hardened into a quick, able bodied thief, but without the heart of the cold-blooded killer.

Her past lovers' name, was Finn Collins. He was a completely ordinary guy, which was part of the reason that Aradia loved him. Finn was executed for stealing a fruit, to give as a present to her; hence her vow.

Aradia skips school, hiding in her little nooks and crannies all around town, keeping to the shadows. The vast farmlands that cover her district provide excellent hiding places, but she insists that Bartholomew attend school regularly.
