Appearance:
Sammie is very tall for her age. Being from District 12, she is always skinny, and her height of 5' 9" adds to her 'skin-and-bones' figure. Calling her a 'twig' would be an understatement, she's so skinny. She doesn't even weigh more than 100 pounds, soaked down, with heavy clothes on. She has navel-length straight brown hair. Her bangs cover her green eyes, which for some reason, she hates. She thinks they make her look even less from the Seam. Her skin is very pale, and in the moonlight it looks translucent.
Personality:
Sammie is very quiet, and is the wallflower of her year. Nobody pays attention to her. Sammie's a deep thinker, always ponders the pros and cons of each situation. She is very quick on her feet. She always acts upon her instincts, knowing the heart doesn't always lead you into the right direction. Sammie is very smart, and eager to learn. She goes exploring throughout the District's less-known places in her free time. She likes to read books about nature. She can tell the difference between almost any plant, tree, or animal. She always ponders the reason for existing in the vile world where the Hunger Games take place. Or, just existing in general.
History:
Sammie is an only child. Her mom got pregnant at a young age, and Sammie was born out of wedlock. Her mother died giving birth. This affected her dad very greatly for several years, making him fall into a deep depression. Sammie was always bored as a toddler, she had no one to play or laugh with. Her dad loves her very much, and gives her all he can, making up for all those lonely years he gave her. Being from the Seam, he can't give her much, but he keeps her alive. She appreciates and loves him for doing that.
