Appearance:
Though some men you know have to worry about dating a girl shorter than they are; this has never affected you. Standing six feet four inches tall, nearly everyone has to look up to see your face. As a career, you constantly work out, trying to prepare for the games; though you muscles make you weigh around two hundred and fifty pounds, by no means are you fat. But even if you did not work out, you would still find your body to be attractive.
You have a head that almost looks like a rectangle, the spiky light brown hair that you have does not help that image. Both of your eyebrows are straight, laying parallel with your also straight hairline. Though you have perfect vision (something you are quite happy to tell anyone, both your eyes always seem to be squinting. It is just a bad habit that you have, but by squinting your blue eyes get covered up.
Through the years of training you have acquired a crooked nose. Once you win the games you will get it fixed, but you deny that someone else broke it. If anyone asks what happened, you lie, telling them you ran into a wall as a little kid. You are lucky to have a smile that never needed any help in being perfect in your mind; but you only think this because people have said that you have a contagious smile, one that you are never afraid of showing off.
In your life, there is never any time to just relax, thus, you lack any tan. Any time that could be considered 'free' is spent working out, which explains why your next is as thick as your head. People tend to notice this more then they notice the blemishes on your face. Almost nobody would dare curiosities you to your face though; they know what would be coming for them if they did.
Many of the clothes you own are for working out, but that does not mean you do not dress well. When you have to go to social functions —and you have to go to many since you are very well off, even by district one standards— you wear clothes that would be found acceptable at the Presidents mansion. Your suits all come from the best designer in district one, you would never accept any less. At school, you wear either a polo or button-down, depending on the weather; the situation is the same with khaki shorts or just khakis. You enjoy dressing well, it lets people know that you are intelligent, as well as having large muscles and being good looking. In your own mind, at least.
Personality:
No matter how much you deny it, you are arrogant. You may be one of the best career trainees in all of Panem, but that fact alone does not make you better than other people. In the looks department, you are just above decent, but you think your muscles make you a perfect ten. Your parents always told you that you were special, and there is no saying you are not, but special does not mean the world's greatest. You seem to take it that way.
Inside your group of friends you struggle for being the top dog. There is one of your fellow careers who just cannot seem to decide who to support. You cannot be the second most important in your group of friends. In a way, life with your fellow careers is like the games, second place is still losing. Having control is the most important thing to you. If you cannot control what is going on around you then you freak out.
Though some children in your district are asked what they want, a better question for you would be what do you not want. To you it is not the thought that counts, it is all about what you get. You are lucky enough to have enough money to get whatever you want, but that is not enough for you. The only way that you could truly attain your dreams is becoming important throughout all of Panem, and there is only one way that you can do that.
The Hunger Games.
Your life revolves around the games, you have to be the best, otherwise you will not be the one to volunteer when you are eighteen. You are sure that everyone likes you, that everyone wants you to represent district one as a tribute. But you are seeing your situation falsely. People do not like you for who you are, they think you are arrogant, only being nice to you because it is for their benefit.
History:
Both of your parents, Emerald and Diamond, came from wealthy jeweler families, neither had to work a day in their lives, but both choose to. In fact, you barely ever get to see your parents, the only time that you do is during the games, the one time of year that you are not busy with school. Your parents hired a former career to watch over you in their absence, but all he does is force you to work out. You do not mind though, anything to help you get ahead.
At the age of five you took interest in the games, not the killing part, but the strategy. You always wondered why people did not kill their allies if they eventually had to. Once you started your training a year later, that question was answered. At first, you were weary about seeing the killing, but then you grew hardened to it. You did not mind seeing blood, or even death. It was not something that you enjoyed seeing, but you rationalize the killings as necessary and would do the same thing if you were in the games.
You have been in the same group of friends since you started training, the group of standouts one might say. Having friends who were also careers meant you could train with them, it was like the games in a way, you were facing the best of the best, but there was no chance of death. Since you were one of the best prospective tributes, you found yourself to be popular at school. Without a doubt you enjoyed it, letting it get to your head. You saw this coming, who could dislike you? If you actually looked at your situation, you would find out that what you think is simply not true.
As you grew older you started to take an interest into girls, and they to you. A relationship always seems like it is out of the question from the girls point of view, but you wonder why. Having someone that you could share anything with would suit you, especially since your parents were never really there for you. Though it is sad for you, nobody seems interested in dating you, but you do get your fair share of excitement at parties. Otherwise you spend your time training with weapons and learning survival skills, or at home, watching tapes of prior games trying to create the best possible strategy for your time as a tribute.
