Day 2 Anthem

The first day of the Hunger Games is always supposed to be bad. Everyone knows this. You have managed to survive that bloody mess, and you're there minding your own business. Before you know it, a dreaded song starts playing in the background. Ah, yes, Panem's Anthem. There is that seal, too, floating above your head. Along with that nice little picture, there comes the faces of those dead:

Off your fingers, you count off the deceased. Seven fingers, two thumbs; nine. Almost half were gone by Day 1. Whatever wounds you carried will pass onto Day 2, to remind you that more fighting is to come between you and the others.
