A bright, sweet voice jerked Lina out of her dozing brain. Straitening to her full, though still small height her head swiveled in the direction of the voice. It had come from above Lina's ear so sh could assume the girl was tall, but age wise Lina could make no guesses. Scrunching her nose slightly as she tried to remember exactly what the girl had asked, Lina placed her hand gently on her hips.

"Um...pen?" She asked the air, her voice slightly softer than was usual. A cool breeze glanced across her warm cheeks, allowing her brain to move a little more quickly.

"Pen right okay..." Her fingertips brushed across the wooden counter top, towards the small cup of writing utensils that she knew were there, picked out a pen by feeling the cap and handed it to where she assumed the girls hand was. For a moment she listened to the fresh evening sounds, it had cooled slightly in the time she had been unaware of the world.

"How's the water." Lina asked, unable to help herself. Hearing people talk about swimming or sailing always made her heart fall a little, knowing she would never do it again, it just wasn't safe. She usually steered clear of news of the water or the days catch but every now and then when she was bored, like today, she got a little information to live vicariously.

The girl talked about the ocean, seeming to sense Lina's longing for some words of it. Then, as Lina heard the flip of pages, the girl paused and something clunked against the counter.

"How about you? You feel at home on the water?" She asked Lina and she felt a little lump clog her throat. It took Lina a moment to locate her small voice, but eventually it managed to break free.

"I used to." Lina said, a wistfulness to her tone. Reaching out for the registry binder, Lina closed it and shoved it in the small, lockable drawer beside her hip. "Well, I'm closing, but which way are you headed?" She asked, walking around the small wooden desk and grabbing her cane on the way. She paused when she sensed the girl to be about two feet away.

"I'm Lina by the way." She told her, surprising herself slightly. Lina didn't usually seek out social interaction, but something about this girl made her feel at ease.

Brushing her fingers across the top of her hand Lina became aware that she could feel both Mo and Isaac's sudden confusion by her obvious discomfort. Now that he had introduced himself, Lina managed to pull a dim memory of Isaac from his nearly daily visits to the docks and from around the district before she was blind. It lessened the terror in her stomach but in no way removed it. Mo's hand squeezed Lina's reassuringly and Lina tried to calm down.

"You to. I'm Lina." She said pausing slightly on her name, a name was a powerful thing, and she was still nervous about this boy, but she had to give him a chance or she would never get past her Arrhenphobia. "We were just leaving...but you could walk with us." She told Issac, her voice leaning towards Mo, simultaneously checking if that was alright with her.

Taking care to not touch Isaac, Lina navigated her way to the front of the small group and faced towards the district. She felt uneasy at having Isaac behind her, but she knew logically Mo was there to protect her. Not even so much as her free will, but no one would ever attack someone with a witness standing right there. Taking some hope in that fact, Lina turned and gave a forced smile to the group.

"Alright Mo, lead the way."
