Zuiz is charasmatic. Although by far not the most eye-appealing bloke in district one, not with all the alterations around, Zuiz still manages to be fairly attractive, because he knows what to say to people.

He can come off easily as self-absorbed, or uppity, but really there is one person who he really is absorbed with- his daughter.

From the word go, Metzuiz was trained as a career. His father was a rich businessman who the family did not see for months at a time, and his mother a pudgy, sad housewife. He had a little sister, Alessandra. He and his sister were both home-educated- he, because of his families career aspirations for him, and his sister because she had a weak heart- something that the family was very much ashamed of. There were not many people who knew the sister existed.

Basically the story goes that Zuiz one of his father’s maids pregnant. She gave birth to the child, and wrote to him to tell him of his new-found paternity. A few weeks later his sister was reaped. She lasted much longer than the family had expected, but eventually was killed quite brutally by the male tribute from their district- a close family friend.

Zuiz wrote back to the girl and said that he would take the kid, and she accepted his offer. Zuiz talked to his mother, who realized that before she was picked, their father hadn’t seen his daughter for 4 months- so they pretended the child was hers, and that she had given birth to it just before she was reaped. Blah blah Zuiz is a daddy!
