Most of the admin, mods, and anyone active in the cbox around 1 year ago remembers there was a wedding planned. However it was never compleated due to unexplained reasons. I have talked with Molly (the author of the Wife-to-be) and she thinks it would be a wonderful idea to have the fiance kidnapped.

However, Mark (the husband) would never just sit around or move on with his life without trying to find her. So now to the real question that I came here to ask...

Would it be possible/not agienst the rules for Mark (a capitol resident) to travel the forest and/or districts searching for Molly? If nessary, he could hire a peacekeeper or two as guards and they could search as a group.

Thanks for taking a look and considering this, if there is a way this would be possible, please let me know.

He could put in a request to go out of the Capitol, but this would likely be held up for a long time and then ultimately denied. The Capitol doesn't like its Capitol citizens associating with the districts very much, except perhaps on business occasionally and for the HG.

Could he join the peacekeeping force and be assigned to a district and try looking for her in his free time there? Would he be allowed to become a peacekeeper? Because then he could travel to a district doing his peacekeeper duties knowing that it's the only way to possible look for Molly...

And if you become a peacekeeper, will you always be a peacekeeper? Or is it possible to quit and return to the capitol, if that's where he started...

I can't remember... but I believe they do have a term of service.

Ya it was stated when Katniss and friends were attacking the nut that a peacekeeper must remain a peacekeeper for 20 years or so but it also said that peacekeepers weren't allowed to have kids or get married. (Yes I know I'm not a staff member on here but I'm just throwing that out there and hay I'm not telling Mark here what he can and can't do I'm just giving you guys a bit more info on the whole peacekeeper thing)

Hmm, I do remember the part about peacekeepers not being able to get married or have kids.

I guess what I'm asking is if there is any legal way for Mark to leave the capitol in such to search for his love. Weather that path be through joining a peacekeeping squad, hiring a personal district tour guide, becoming the personal assistant of a business man who needs to take a trip to a district for some reason, or anything else that might be a way for him to leave.

Mark is desperate to find Molly especially since the kidnappers have only recently taken her, ruined the wedding, and have yet to post any demands, requests, or anything else. And the reason why it has to be legal is because Mark is a goody-two-shoes and kinda has a serious problem breaking any kind of rule. However, if that is what it ends upcoming down to, Mark will not let anything stand in his way of finding his true love.

I'm really hopping there is a way to send Mark out to look for molly, preferably without really risking his capitol status too much.
His preferred hope is that a squad of peacekeepers would show up at his door and tell him that his kidnapping report has been noted and, in this instance, has been deemed worthy enough for a team of peacekeepers to be sent out in search of this girl. But that's probably not likely since the capitol peacekeepers have more important things to do...
