[Confusion] {Chaos} and <Finally> (TheKiss) /Alex\

I woke up, my vision foggy and my head throbbing. I blinked a few times, shaking my head. Bad idea. The room spun so badly, it made my stomach churn. My surroundings fazed in and out of view. As soon as the disorientation had begun, it stopped. My familiar living room slid back in order. I was laying on the living room couch, my head lolling uncomfortably over the arm-rest. A simple linen sheet covered my body. Slowly, I realized I was still in the clothes I had worn last night.

Then I remembered my date with Ace.

Swearing to myself, I threw the sheet off me. It fluttered to the floor in a heap of pure white. Dad would get pissed later, but I didn't have time for that now. Hurrying into the shower, I washed my hair about seven times, trying to get the stupid gel I'd put in it. The spiky look, really wasn't my thing. My hair still sticking up in odd angles, I rushed into my room, changing into a simple red tee and jeans.

I threw on my jacket, which was just a simple gray, zip-up with two front pockets. I really wasn't one for being all fancy. When I stuck my hands in my pockets, I found a small, chain. What the... I brought the chain out. It was a beautiful bracelet with a small Garnet on the end. In small lettering on the back it was engraved with A+R. How could I have been so STUPID? ow could I have forgotten? Today was probably one of the scariest days in my life.

I rushed out the door of my house, my hair still sticking up at a semi-odd angle. I clutched the bracelet in my hand, my heart pounding faster than ever. Ace and I had been together for a while now. Well, longer than we had in a long time, so, I'd thought it was time to take things up a notch. Unlike most weekends (that I wasn't with Ace), which I spent partying drinking myself into a coma, I had stayed up late, buying this necklace, and coming up with the perfect way to tell her that... well, I wanted to move forward. The only problem was, I don't know how she is going to take it.

Finally, I made it to where we had decided to meet. Completely out of breath, my face probably red and completely unattractive. Forcing myself to take deep breaths, I looked into Ace's eyes, an electric current surging though me. My heart was pounding so fast, it was a surprise that she couldn't hear it. My brain was fuzzed, I couldn't think of anything to say. My mind went blank.

I don't know how long I stood there, choking over my own words, but eventually I managed to stammer something like.

"I-i... well, I wanted to... well, We've been dating a while now... and I... um, I felt, that maybe... I could... um, meet your f-family?"

I held out the bracelet to her, the Garnet caught the sun, and gleamed gently. "This reminded me of you." I muttered "And, I thought... you'd like it. It's kind just a symbol showing howmuchIloveyou."

The last words stuck in my throat, but came out before I had a grasp. Call me Mr. Smooth, cause I have a way with words.
