North Taylor - District 4

North has medium length, straight blonde hair and bright blue eyes. She is very pale, and hardly ever tans, even though she is outside training for most of each day. She is quite tall, and in great shape. Most people overlook her impeccable beauty, though. North has a huge scar that starts on her cheek and swoops up over her left eyelid to her eyebrow, and it attracts more attention than she’d prefer.

She is usually found wearing a thin, black jacket and running shorts. North doesn't care about her appearance in the slightest, though if she did she would be concerned about her weight. She weighs little more than 120 pounds, despite how much she eats.

North has a lot of problems, her worst being her attitude. She has no time for ‘weak’ people, and thinks she’s better than everyone else. After being mocked and teased for years, she became bitter and arrogant. She likes to be alone, so she trains. North has no real interests or hobbies, and she trains out of pure anger and frustration. North feels like everyone hates her, and so naturally, she hates everyone back.

She doesn’t care about anyone or anything, not even herself. She is really self-centered, and doesn't care if she comes across in a bad way. All she wants is to be left alone to do what she needs to do.

North would never let anything get in the way of her training. No friends, no relationships, no parties, nothing. She barely gives herself time to eat, sleep, or go to school.

North lives with her parents, Summer and Richard, and her older brother, Nate, who is 22. Her parents barely pay attention to North because they spend most of their time worrying about Nate. Nate has severe autism, and no matter how many treatments the Capitol has tried with him, nothing seems to work. North isn’t allowed near her brother, so she doesn’t know him. She wishes she had a better relationship with him, or even that she could say hi to him every now and then.

The accident that almost blinded her occurred when she was fifteen. She was picking something up from the market, when two men attacked her for money. She had knocked over a stand that sold jars of honey. The glass went everywhere, and in the struggle, a large shard had got caught in her face. It took days for the doctors to get it out in a way that would save her vision. They did it though, but her sight in her left eye is much worse than in her right.

North, since she is in her last year of school and had previously worked out something with her teachers, only spends three hours a day at school. She spends nine hours training afterwards, since there's nothing else for her to do. She plans, that if she doesn't get reaped this year, to become a doctor to try and cure her brother's disease.
