Cruiz Jones (District 9)

Cruiz has golden blonde hair that seems to always perfect, not a hair out of place. Cruiz has thick eyebrows that make him look paticularly serious, and thin eyelashes. He has dark golden eyes that often atract curious attention. His face is slightly pointed, making him look sofisticated while his smile makes him look like a jokester. His ears are kind of small, but still poke out slightly from his not short but not long hair.

Cruiz is a normal height for his age, being 5'6. He has a narrow figure that hides most of his muscle. His legs seemed to be made for running, and take him very fast. He is quite skinny, which is just natural for his family, and is mostly not because of his eating habits. He exercises often, and it shows. He is pretty handsome, and from a first impression of him he seems like a very polite, smart young man.
Yeah, first impressions can be misleading.

Cruiz is a nimble and stealthy man. He is exceptionally good at climbing and running. Despite his speed, he has a quite noticable lack of stregth. He is actually quite clumsy, which also is a downside to his running abilities. He is good at making snares, and hunting. Most when hunting though, he is very good at staying quiet when he needs to, and hiding.

Cruiz is "smooth" when it comes to girls. Its almost like when ever a girl he likes is around him his flaws weaken. Cruiz is also determined, when he put his mind to it. He wont give up unless he finishes the job. He is often very brave when he is determined too. But his determinedness makes him stubborn most of the time.

Cruiz is usually protective when any of his family is invovled. He never thinks before he does something, he always just goes by his instinct. This helps him in most situations but sometimes he gets in trouble. Even getting in trouble though, does not keep him from doing what he always does.

Cruiz's story, is a rather sad one, filled with tragdey, love, and expirence. He was born into a rather poor family, but they all had a strong bond which kept them from ever being starved for more that a day. When Cruiz was 5, he remebered his dad would tuck him into bed and tell me a story. It was called "Midnight Thunder". It was about a young boy who wandering through the district and and got mugged. The man who mugged him took his unconsous body to a meadow in the district. There, he met a girl who healed him back to health. Strangley enough, when it got dark she would have to go, probably to get in some trouble of some kind. Then alone, he went back home. That weekend he went back to the meadow and found her again that day. Thats when he started meeting her every weekend, at the meadow. One fateful night they hid under a tree when there was a storm. Thats when the lightning struck the tree. It had scared the girl so bad, she had jumped into the boys arms. Thats when they had their first kiss.
After a year they became married.

After Cruiz's dad died he figured out that that was his Dad's story on how he met Mom. His dad died when he was 8, in a horrible accident, along with his brother too. When the two left them, all that was left of his strong family was his Mother, Grandfather, and him.

His mom made little money on her apothercary buisness. It was hard on their own, especially since at that time Cruiz's grandfather was out of work for a broken hand. They were bearly scraping by. They were desprate, and thats when his grandfather finally taught Cruiz how to hunt, when he was 9. His Dad starting hunting when he turned 19 and he stopped when he was 21. But his dad taught him well. He always talked about how he missed the days where he could hunt not work in a factory. He gave me his old cross bow and we hunted. There was a place still inside of the district behind the dumps of the factorys that was unoccupied. It was a large meadow where many animals live. It was there i found solitude. And after 6 years of me hunting we survived.
