Faye sat down on a bench that provided her with a nice view of the sea. The smell of the ocean clinging to the air made her feel safe, and at home. She had always loved the sea. Her mind thought back to her parents. Her dad would most likely be at work right now, wishing he could be home. Her mother probably at home wishing she could be anywhere else. She sighed moved to lay down on her side, propping herself up on her elbow. "It's beautiful." She whispered into the air.
Emily sighed at the flavor of the air, thick with salt. The water looks so nice...can we go swimming.
Not right now. That sounds nice, but I happen to be very comfortable as I'm sure you know. It was weird how used to it she had gotten, talking to the other personalities in her head and such. Her fingers caught a strand of her hair and started twirling it. This view was so romantic. She had always loved romance. Always wanted a lover who saw her as the light of his world. But with her condition, that was very unlikely. So she was a bit crazy. Did that really mean she didn't deserve to be loved by anyone outside her family?
She couldn't make Faye roll her eyes to express her own hatred of things that were beautiful and sappy. Both of you need to get a life. It isn't fair that I have to listen to your every thought. Yay! The sea's pretty and shiny! She said overly sarcastically. So what? Find something bigger than you and kill it, now that's fun. Caitlin finished.
Faye rolled her eyes. Life isn't about violence.
Yeah, why do we have to fight all the time. Why can't we make friends and love animals?"
Because things want to kill us. Argent whispered to the others. Hell, Emily if I didn't know you I'd kill you. This....life, if you can call it that, is nothing more than a way to trap people in one huge arena, the Games never end. We all have to fight or die.
Faye sighed. She couldn't really disagree with Argent. "We'll figure something out." She whispered sadly and felt her other personalties back off to leave her be for a bit. Her mind was tired, and her body was tired. She laid down all the way on the bench and closed her eyes, longing for a day when she could be free... in every sense of the word.[/blockquote]
