I love today. I can't help but love it to the last bit. The park was absolutely, fabulously, gorgeous today. At least that's what I thought. No one else would tell me their opinion. I decide to spin while I walk, seeing as I don't always care what people think about me. Except performance. I'm an out cast, anyways. Spinning and spinning, I notice something from the corner of my eye and I drop to my knees and flop against the hard ground, dizzy.

I get up and dust off the dirt from my white and black knee high socks. I pull my hands up and stare at them in awe. The skin on my higher thigh was cut open, not a very deep cut but like a rope burn, and blood was slowly trickling out. I squeeze my eyes shut. My gift and my curse. I sometimes wonder what it would be like to feel pain. That's an interesting thought. I could never tell. I began spinning again, trying to release my mind of thoughts about my stupid ability.

"Oh!" I exclaim to no one in particular as I remember the cause of me falling. Furious, I glare over in the direction I hoped was correct. Trying to make me look like a freak, who ever you are?! I immediately feel the anger drain from my face when I see him. He's sitting there with his eyes closed and all I can think about is what could have happened to him. Maybe he's a freak like me...? Maybe he was beat up? Maybe he is dead?

For no real reason, that very last though made my freeze. Oh good lord, please don't let him be dead. I think as I rush over to him. I stop again, about half way to him. Was this really a good idea? Helping a stranger? He could have been a boy from school. My eyes began to water at that. No. I refuse to cry. I gather my courage and walk almost right up to him. He looks so defeated I can't help but accidentally let a tear slip as I start thinking about my life and how different our lives must be.

I creep up to his still body and kneel down, very aware to kneel the proper way a lady should when wearing a skirt, especially as short as mine. Well, I am wearing shorts under them. But, who cares. Manners right? Performance is all that matters in this cruel world. I peak at his stomach, trying to see if he was breathing. He was definitely breathing. In shock I realize how awkward this must be if he's awake. Trying to cover up before he thinks I'm some sort of Career challenging him or some thief, I look down at his beaten face. He better be awake or else I look like I'm talking to a sleeping person. That would be so awkward, I think. "Are you okay?"

I suddenly hear a voice other than the kid on the floors. I turn around to see a boy behind us. God, I stand up looking him over. He was tall. Taller than most people I knew... But, I didn't know him, so it made sense I tell him, "My name isn't 'girl'. Asking for names before shouting to people might be a good idea, sir." I sigh, running a hand through my blood red hair. I had no idea if this kid was alive or almost dead. Of course, I was worried about him but, I wondered what he deserved the black eye and wounds for. When the guy approaches me and the kid on the floor, I keep my ground. He didn't seem like he wanted to hurt us. So, I do the first thing that usually comes to my mind. I put out my hand, offering a shake. "Rosette Beatrix. And, you tell me if he," I nudge my head in the guy on the floors direction. "Is dead or not. And, your name?" I ask, smilig gently.

This reminded me of Thomas. Altho, Thomas didn't exactly wear hoodies the reveal that much chest. But, I respect his style, he must enjoy it. I can tell right then and there, this guy was bored of life. He understood it all to well, he didn't like reality, it was too clear to him. He seems like quite the character, right off the bat. I find myself actually admiring his sweater for the nice color, when I snap back to reality. "So, what brings you out here?" For the moment being, I wasn't really acknowledging the guy on the ground. Poor thing... Anyways, I look back at the tall guy. Friendly as he was, I might need his help right away to get the poor guy on the floor to somewhere safer. I wasn't exactly the strongest being ever.

I rub the back of my head, almost at the same time as him. He was nicer than I had expected, I had come of quite rude. "Oh, um, no, it's okay, don't apologize." Waah, I had sounded like a bitch about a second ago! Calm it, Rosette. Chill. I look up at his face. His hair was quite long, it looked really soft. Wait, why was I noticing how soft his hair looked?! I almost palm my face. Smooth. He was so nice, how could I be so rude? I smile gently, holding my arms to myself. "Clyde is a lovely name. I tend to hang around parks, really. Well... Anywhere, I have a lot of free time." I sound like a loner. Well, Clyde seemed nice enough that I don't have to consider myself a loner if I was to hang out with him more.

I watch him test the guy on the ground for breathing. Then, he ends up pickig him up. The kid on the ground HAD to be heavy so, I take a quick step closer. "Ah! Do, you need help carrying him?" I say, reaching fkr the kids feet. I can't just force Clyde to carry the guy... That's so inconsiderate and rude. And, I didnmt need to be anymore rude to Clyde. I'm kind of surprised Clyde isn't asking about my eyes. One emerald, one brown, I remember when my father used to tell me what a unique and rare flower I was. Of course, I never got that now. Now, I was outcast but, who cares, right? No one wants a kid who doesn't feel pain. "We can come back later and look for it. Is it really special to you?"

I smile altho his joke is kind of self centered, I'm able to laugh it off. He was only being friendly. And, I respect him greatly for that. Smiling, I try not to turn around and stomp off at the loner remark. I try not to grit my teeth as I say, "No. I'm not a loner. I do spend time with people." I can't help but turn away from his face, glaring over at the trees. Carefully I let go of the boys legs. If Clyde wanted to play cavaleirs with a beaten boy on the ground, that's fine by me. It was kind of funny. I smile gently, looking back to Clyde. Very interesting. He seemed unique in character. "You seem very capable of carrying him." I could see his muscles from the unzipped area of his sweater. I almost start blushing, adverting my eyes.

I was impressed with his way of thinking. He seemed slightly arrogant and egostidtic but, sweet and friendly. I kind of wanted to see what he was hiding behind his pretty face and his bang which cover his beautiful eyes. But, like my own backround, his might be worse. His might tear at my heart before I hide it. There's no way I can leave his hanging now. I have to find out what exactly Clyde has in mind. "Thank you, Clyde. It means a lot that you think so highly of my eyes. It's... Really sweet. You can definitely tell me about it. What did you lose? I could help find it. There's a story behind it?"

OOC: Oh, cool! So, I was you first role play partener! If you want, I'll start up a seprate thread for us xD. Sorry if this sounded umm, weird/unique O.o I was forced to watch watching the kings speech

"Oh, no it's fine, I over react sometimes." I say, waving my hand at him as I start walking beside Clyde. My arm brushes his for a moment and I sort of stumble over, embarrassed I had been walking so close to him. But, that seemed really rude... So, Instead, I clear my voice, I have to be careful talking... I might ruin my throat without realizing it. A little quiter then normal, I say, "So, your dads token was the necklace... Did he-- um... Did he... Die?" I cough into my shoulder, a little shy, now that I'm asking if his father died. It was so inhumane, the games. I respected careers and I was sort of considered myself one too but, that was... The Capitol had a pretty cruel, twisted mind, didn't they. Why were they so lazy to force the other districts to make their stuff. It just didn't make sense.

Switching my mind back to our conversation, I couldn't really ask Clyde to take the kid to Thomas's. Even if it was closer, Thomas was probably training. No, my house was only a block or so down, we'll take him there. The door better open for me. "We'll take him to my house. I'm sure my family wouldn't mind." There was a whole lot I wasn't explaining to Clyde... It's better if he kept his image of me as beautiful. There was a helluva lot wrong with me inside. I hear him beside me, trying to muffle his breathing. Turning to him, I knew the kid who had been on the floor was heavy. "Clyde, seriously, I want to help carry this kid." I say, gently. I reach my hands over for the kids arms, looping my own through his. I didn't care which side I took, I wouldn't feel the stretch and the stength it took anyways. "Just, follow me, I know the kid's heavy but, try not to look like grave diggers." I say, giving Clyde a soft, joking grin.

Horrified, I look at Clyde. "Beat you?! Oh, god... Clyde, that's horrible!" His dad sounded scary and it terrified the hell out of me, thinking of which game re-runs had I been forced to see as a kid. Jesus Christ, that's scary. And, he's used to that. Dammit, that's cruel. My household is no different, al tho, my parents never won any games. I'm pretty sure I would be beaten too if my parents found out I had lost anything of theirs. Yea... Families. "I don't think my parents will mind. If they do, I'll break in." I say, joking. But, inside I'm completely serious. Indicating with my head, I nod the direction of my home. It was right around the corner. My brother should be home. If he's there, surely no fights will break out. But, I'm not going to be sure about that. I'm a bit nervous about the outcome.

I blush slightly, after he asks about me. "Well, what would you want to know?" I ask, laughing a bit. Sure, the kid was heavy but, for some reason, I wasn't breaking a sweat. Well, I knew the reason but, whatever. I decide to tell Clyde something new about me. Something I don't usually tell people. "Well umm... I can juggle knives, if that was something you were looking for... I'm more skilled with blades..." I nervously laugh. Now a little curious about him, I ask, "So, what about you? Anything cool?" He seemed cool, I guess he might have something else to show. Even if he was handsome, beautiful people always have the worst pasts. ...I wasn't beautiful nor did I have a fun past. My smile sinks into a sort of frown...

He seemed amused with my shock. The fact I was worried about him, didn't quite strike me as funny. I sigh, moving on. "Yes, I'm fine, not quite on perfect terms. Anyways, this is my house right here." It was one of those houses that looked small from on side but, in reality was fairly big inside. White walls and brown-red roof. I liked my house but, I'm not sure the household liked me. Actually, I knew they didn't. Turning to Clyde, I say, "Okay, umm... Expect anything to happen. My family doesn't exactly... Want... Me..." I slow down by the end, gently putting the knocked out kid on the ground, leaving him to Clyde. Walking up to the door, I knock. After a moment the door opens. It's my mother. "Um, there was a boy collapsed--"

"No. Go some other place, your not welcome here." Shocked, I take a step back. "M-mom, the kids hurt!"

"Don't call me that, your no child of mine. Whats wrong with you is sick and wrong, just leave us alone, we've suffered enough." I feel my face pale as she slams the door shut in my face. Using my disability against me? That's low. I go back to Clyde hoping he hadn't seen that, hoping he didn't see the tears of frustration forming in my eyes. I grab the knocked out kids arms, trying to listen him up. "I'm sorry, you saw that. We have to find somewhere new."
