A Hot Autumn day(OPEN)

Connor walked along the forest with his knife in hand, he saw a river around here somewhere, the only thing he remembered to find it was that it was in this direction. He had several animals in his backpack and was trying his way down the mountain. He knew he needed to get off before winter or he would die. Not that anyone would miss him, he thought to himself.
He approached the river in a hidden little place, a stream was running into it and there was a cave for quick cover. He slid into the little alcove and drank the fresh water from the stream. He spalshed some on his face before filling up his water botttle. He got and then and wanderer down stream.
Soon it got hot and Connor was tempted to go in the river to cool off. He walked for another ten or so minutes before hding his backpack with it's food and his bow. He kept his knife on hand and tighly attached to his belt.As he stepped into the stream he breathed a sigh of relief.He waddled down a little more before sitting in the water. The water was about half-way up his chest when he sat down. He wanted to go a little deeper and see if he could find some fish, so he ventured deeper into the stream.
He wasn't looking at where he was putting his feet, but for fish instead, and this proved a deadly mistake. He misstepped into a hole in the water and got his foot stuck under a log. His faces was under water and he started drowning. He splashed around franticlly hoping someone would come to help him, even though he knew, no one probaly would..
