Appearance:

Alan had dark brown hair that lays flat on his scalp. His eyes are a bright blue-ish green color. Alan's cheeks appear sunken in, giving him well defined cheek bones. His skin is a bit darker then average. His limbs are thin and lanky. Alan's ears stick out from his hair and are to big for his head. His hands are long and shows the veins.

Alan isn't really picky with clothes and will wear whatever fits. One thing you will see him in often is a thick brown jacket with several pockets given to him by his father. Alan has a piercing in the middle of the bottom of his mouth. Alan's body structures is thin with little muscle. Alan's lips are thin and appears even more so when frowning.

Alan's nose is thinned out, like the rest of his face and body. Due to his lanky body, the bones in his wrists and ankles stick out even more so then usual. Same thing goes for the veins in his feet and wrists. Alan isn't easily prone to sunburn, but when he gets it it's usually bad and leaves big splotches on his skin. On his left ankle, there is a small scar about the length of a quarter.

Personality:

Alan is a laid back person. It takes alot to bother him, besides certain exceptions. He is very overprotective when it comes to his boyfriend(name for this charrie has not been decided) and is prone to jealousy. Another thing that bothers him alot is his cousin(another undecided name) who is constantly trying to tear about him and (insert boyfriend's name), despite the fact he is dating Alan's boyfriend's sister. Despite the time he spends with his boyfriend's friends, Alan has no really close friends of his own.

Alan has a deep appreciation for nature. He easily sees the beauty in it and embraces it. Once and awhile, he sneak his way to the fence and looks over at the beauty, though he doesn't dare to go over it. Once and awhile he'll find something over the fence, such as a rabbit or a bird, that's hurt. When this happens, he'll take it back the house and bother his boyfriend to let him take care of it inside the house. Then he would release it when it's health is better. The few time he tried to care for an animal and it died Alan got badly upset, but eventually just moved on to the next one.

When it comes to work, Alan feels strange by living off his boyfriend. He feels guilty that he doesn't due any work to help him out. Once in a awhile he'll talk him into letting Alan help with some project, but that doesn't help the guilt very much. Alan is sensitive when it comes to others emotions and respects them, unless given reason not too. Alan doesn't start fights without reason, and can't fight very well anyway.

Alan is afraid of the Capitol. He greatest fear is being in the Games, or, even worse, his boyfriend or someone in his family becoming part of the Games. Every year, he makes them all promise that if they're picked, they'll step down. Alan is terrified of Peacekeepers and goes out of his way to stay away from them. He never thought of breaking the law, but would be to afraid of the punishment to do so even if he wanted too.

History:

Alan Daniels was born on April Eighth to Hera Daniels. His mother had died giving birth to him. Alan's father was found dead months before. He was then considered an orphan, but instead of going to an orphanage, he had the luck to be taken in by his cousin's family. The family was fairly well off from an oil rig company they owned so none of them really ever had to worry about cloths and food. They lived in an fairly nice home on the outskirts of District Five.

When Alan turned fourteen a friend of the family (eventual boyfriend of Alan's) came to live with them. Alan almost immediately had a crush on him, it turned out he felt the same. Despite his cousins wishes, they started dating. Alan's cousins started messing with them and making idol-threats, knowing he'd never have the heart to go through with them. It went this way for about two more years before Alan's boyfriend got his own place and Alan moved in with him.

While they were moving in to their new home, which at the time, was an old house they planned on fixing up, Alan had caught his foot in a hole in the floor. The men who were hired to fix things like that caught Hell from Alan's boyfriend, while Alan's boyfriend caught Hell from Alan's family. Alan repeated assured his boyfriend and family it was fine and he just got a bit scratched. This is what gave him the scar on his ankle.

Now Alan and his boyfriend live in a expensive house house inherited to Alan's boyfriend closer to town then his cousin's. Sweden, having his own oil rig comcany. Both live comfortably of there salaries, though Alan's cousin still messes with them from time to time.
