Gender: Male

Appearance:
Jokk's hair, which is both dark colored and extremely shiny, reflects his district's oil industry. It shines, and swoops above his head in a slightly old-fashioned hair cut. Jokk doesn't really tend to his hair often, so it's normally rather messy and uncared for, but he does try and cut it regularly. The boy wears his hair practically the same everyday, and there's nothing exceptional about his hair.Personality:
Jokk's eyes are dark brown. They are rather large, and take up a good-sized amount of his face. You notice these puppy-dog eyes first, before you notice anything else on his face, because they draw so much attention. It's natural to find them seductive. His eyebrows are slightly thick, but not rectangular in shape, like some guys'. His eyelashes are rather long for a boy, but they aren't as long as an average girl's, and their dark black color helps them to look extended.
Jokk's skin is rather tan, because he often spends time outside, but he isn't the picture of health. His muscles are considerably large, since he helps out in almost anything he is needed for in order to get a spare buck, but he doesn't earn enough to feed himself well, making his ribcage visible when he doesn't wear a shirt. (Of course, he has muscle too, but not enough to hide his bones.) His sturdy build helps Jokk not to be so skinny, and adds a few inches to his height, but Jokk's body type is nothing special. It's nearly unhealthy, and imperfect.
Jokk often fears for things. He fears for loss, he fears for sadness, and most importantly, he fears for love. Jokk isn't the kind of guy to easily fall head-over-heals for a girl, and it takes time for him to develop feelings, but once he does, there isn't much stopping him. Jokk is determined, like most boys, and willful. His personal loyalty and devotion have gotten him into trouble in the past, and he doesn't tend to look forward to the Hunger Games, where alliances are constantly broken, and friends turn on friend.History:
Jokk is outgoing and sarcastic. He will bring sarcasm to any conversation, which he will have with anyone. He is a smart, witty boy, who's rather good with people, and sees things rather than looks at them. He views something from any perspective. Unlike his sister, if you get to know him, he will trust you, most likely putting his life on the line for you.
Jokk is too trusting. This would easily get him killed in the Hunger Games, for he would find it impossible to kill others. Also, he is extremely afraid of heights. This fear is traced back to when his brother died. He was sliced with a sword, and then pushed off of a mountain side. Jokk has reoccurring dreams of falling off of a mountain to his death.
Like most boys, Jokk thinks he's tough, but he doesn't think he's better than anyone else. His self esteem often appears to be it's own person; a very bipolar person. Jokk doesn't have much control over what type of mood he's in, and he occasionally lashes out on the people closest to him when his self esteem is low. When it's high, Jokk is kind to almost everyone he meets, but his usual edge still lingers [not to far] down under.
From birth, Jokk, and his twin sister Hade, showed promise. Their older brother trained them for the time when the games might approach. Derek wanted his little brother and sister to stand a chance. By the time he was 5, Jokk wielded a knife with skill, and he could attack and kill a non-moving target. Derek was a skilled trainer, and all of the lessons he taught his siblings were used when the time called for them. Growing a bond between the three, Hade and Jokk saw each other more as training partners, allies, and friends, then twins.Codeword: odair
When Jokk was young, his eldest brother, Derek, was entered in the Hunger Games. All of the family went into panic. They knew he was old enough to enter the games, but his chances of survival were slim. As it turns out, they were right. Derek was so close to survival that he came in second place. The moment he was killed, the Spaff family flicked off their TVs. They couldn't believe their eyes. Hade and Jokk were only 7, and Marianna was only 4.
As the years went by, they were able to "skim the surface." The family was pitied by many, and honored by all. Hade, Jokk, and Marianna even got special treatment in school. Still, the Spaff family didn't have much money, so you couldn't say they were living the good life. Hade and Jokk took over the family, their parents weak and hard to cope with after the death of their first born.
