Tyler Booke- District 5

Tyler is quite tall for his age. Taller than most people that he knows, old or young. Standing at 6 foot 3 inches, Tyler is rather gangly in most places, and has blonde hair that stops near the bottom of his ears on the sides, about half an inch above his eyebrows, and around mid neck in the back. He has rather strong legs from all of his time spent outdoors, but despite that he is still relatively pale. He has green eyes, large hands, and is slim.

His slim figure comes naturally, as he gets to eat a fair amount of food, not feast by any stretch of the imagination, but a nice amount. Any muscle he has on his body, has just come naturally, and not working out. Tyler has a scar along the top of his left hand from a cabinet in the Oil Rig Library of Records, falling on top of him.

A master of concealing his emotions if need be, Tyler enjoys acting (although this rarely gets put to use in the world of Panem). His good-natured personality allows him to be able to associate with most types of people, but he will stand by his own strong opinions, always. He is naturally a born leader, and can be usually is brave in the face of danger- although he does know where to draw the line in situations.

As stated above with acting, Tyler is very artistic, and creative. He loves telling, and writing stories, sometimes off the top of his head, which helps a lot when telling lies. As well as acting, and writing, he enjoys visual art, and recognizes artistic balance. Of course none of these things really help much in District 5 (like most of his skills).

Tyler is a smart human being, and is clever, and witty. When in a room with many people, he tends to notice their mannerisms, and their personality- picking them apart, and trying to guess what they are like. He is pretty street smart as well, and knows how to maneuver around certain subjects, make he way unnoticed, and manipulate people.

One last aspect of Mr. Tyler Booke’s personality is that he has a passion for the environment, and animals. He loves to work with animals, and has a certain hatred for his own district, in that they have destroyed most of their own environment. Of course he is smart enough to realize that the Capitol really caused all this, but he can’t help but think that if District 5 citizens had rebelled more, then there would be more environment left.

Some last random things worth mentioning: Tyler blushes easily even when not embarrassed (to his much displeasure and inconvenience), he is quite and shy around people he does not know, and he has never been in a romantic relationship with anyone.

Lucky for him, Tyler, has not had to deal with much traumatic events through out his life time. His grand parents all died before he could register what was happening, and he is an only child living with his mother, and father. Working directly in the oil rigs is Tyler's father, and Tyler's mother is the head secretary of this particular facility.

Most male boys Tyler's age also have to work directly in the dangerous oil rigs, but Tyler's mother was able to pull a few strings with her position to have him working as the not so dangerous, assistant librarian of records. Tyler helps to sort records to how much oil is treated, and sold off to the Capitol, as well has employee records.

The family makes a fair amount of money, and are relatively well off for the district.
Even though the family works together, this makes Tyler very uneasy. He realizes how dangerous it is to be by the oil rigs at all time, because of not just pollution, but the idea of the whole plant exploding. On another note, The idea of the reaping does not cause to much anxiety to Tyler, as he thinks there is slim chance of him being called. Standing in line, and waiting for the names to be called, still stirs up a certain fear that sends his heart beating rapidly for one day each year. In the back of his mind, Tyler thinks of how the games would allow him to escape the district into a natural environment. Well- not natural- but seeming so at least.
