Appearance:
Aeleze is loud. Not because she likes to talk too much or too loud, but...well, you notice her when she walks into a room, and if you don’t, you’d better be either blind or really, really stupid. It just isn’t possible to miss hair that bright. It’s not spectacularly long- true, it does sweep down just past her shoulder blades, but really, you should see the people who have hair down to their feet. No, the thing about her hair is the dye job. Blue at the roots fades into blue-white and then yellow, which becomes orange and then, at the very tips of her hair, red. Moreover, it actually looks realistic; Aeleze has figured out how to spike her hair, even when leaving it down (sometimes she makes it spike out from her head like a wheel, just because she’s bored), so that it really does like fire.Personality:
Too much time on her hands? Well... yeah, pretty much.
Her eyes, on the other hand, are a severe counterpart to her bright, exciting hair. They are steely grey, and she refuses to put contacts in them to make them a more exciting color (like, say, purple or something) as her friends continuously suggest. She likes them the way they are, thank you very little, and they will stay that way.
Once upon a time, Aeleze was tall; then it was discovered that she had simply hit her final growth spurt before the rest of her peers hit theirs, and she quickly became short once more. Not overly so, perhaps, but a few inches down from average nonetheless. It doesn’t bug her; what does bug her about her appearance is her weight, because while she’s slim right now, it takes either a lot of work or a lot of chemicals to keep herself like that. For someone who has a natural allergy to the most common weight-loss chemicals and an equally natural aversion to work, that’s a problem.
The first impression that most people get of Aeleze is, to be blunt, one of laziness. This isn’t the case; while she does tend to be lethargic when not doing anything, that’s not because she’s lazy, but because she finds idleness boring, and she gets lackluster when she’s bored. True, it does tend to take her a while to get into things- but then, can you jump from lying down to running at top speed in two seconds flat? I thought not.History:
Once you get her going, any lasting thoughts of Aeleze being lazy will fly out the window. A right tornado when she wants to be, the woman may not slow down for hours; even if she’s not bouncing about off the walls and shouting at the top of her lungs, the wheels in her mind will be turning a million miles an hour, and if there’s a writing utensil on hand (or something sharp and her own arm- if she’s truly desperate, she’s been known to write in her own blood before), she’ll be either sketching or writing. No paper is necessary- she’s not at all averse to using her hands, arms, shoes, or clothes, not to mention the floor, other people, soda cans... anything on hand, really. Indeed, the walls in her house are positively covered with notes and drawings, casualties of those all-too-common moments when an idea attacked her and she simply had to write it down before she... lost... what was that again?
So what’s the deal with all this scribbling? Aeleze’s creative mind may be brilliant (she was once a stylist for the Hunger Games, and continues to work as a fairly respected if not world-famous designer), but her memory... is not. Don’t ever count on her to remember when a meeting is, or her best friend’s favorite color (or her own), or- actually, just don’t ask her to remember anything, okay? She means well, but she won’t. The one thing that’s always, always with her is her electronic planner, and there’s a really good reason for that.
But try not to get too mad if she forgets, because she really doesn’t like it when people are mad at her.
To be honest, nothing of any true import or interest has ever happened to Aeleze. At all. Her life has always been an easy one, something that she both appreciates and regrets; part of her is endlessly grateful that she’s never had to fight any kind of hardship, but a smaller piece of her craves adventure that she know she will never have.Codeword: muttations
Even without a great deal of excitement, though, she’s happy. She was raised by both her parents, though they were pretty hands-off, as is common in Capitol families; they sent her off to school when she came of age, and she made more friends there than she did at home. From an early age, she knew she wanted to be a designer; her mother worked in the Hunger Games almost every year, and she loved coming along and learning to mix and match designs and colors.
Once she finished primary school, she went to college, but ended up dropping out so she could start designing special occasion clothes, as she wasn’t learning anything she thought she needed to know. She’s been fairly successful, even without full schooling to her name; most people take one look at her designs and forget to care whether she has a degree. She started out small, but she’s begun expanding; she no longer makes all of her own sales, but designs the clothes, creates a couple prototypes, and sends them off to a small factory in District 1. She’s even been selected once or twice as a stylist for the Hunger Games, which has her through the roof with happiness.
Right now, Aeleze resides in a semirural area of the Capitol, where she owns a house and small plot of land. She lives alone; she’s had the occasional boyfriend, but none of them have stuck around for long, and she’s perfectly happy to carry on alone.

Pets::
Last year, during her stint as a stylist for the Hunger Games, Aeleze acquired a black ewe (then a four-month-old lamb) named Regalia. (This is not as random as it sounds- she was the stylist for District 5, the animal District, and they used sheep in one of the parades.) She’s kept her ewe ever since, and in fact went out and bought another, a ram named Pearl, to keep Rega company. (Unfortunately, she didn’t really think, and ended up with two more- much to her surprise, Rega ended up pregnant and proceeded to produce twin lamb of her own). Aeleze has given in and gotten a dog to keep the little herd in line. They’re doing alright out on her land, and in fact she kind of enjoys working with them, but she’s not willing to give up her styling and will become a shepherd, so with luck this will be the last of her sheep for now. (She’s having Rega spayed soon, which she hopes will end the new-sheep problem.)
