Desiree Shay District 1

Desiree has always had golden colored hair, since the day she was born and probably until the day she dies she will have golden hair. She always puts it up in a messy bun in which she usually sticks twigs and pencils in just for the heck of it. Her face is an oval shape and she has eyes the color of a stormy sea.

Although she is a beautiful person she has many flaws, just like anyone else. An example is that her hair has always been to long for her liking because it always gets caught in a manner of things, for example doors and branches, she even accidently sits on it! Another one of her flaws are that her hands and figure are so delicate and fragile she sprains her wrists ,ankles and anything else that is sprainable all the time.

Desiree is also very tall and willowy which makes it hard for her to hide behind things. It sometimes seems she will blow away in a high gust of wind because she is so skinny. She has a bit of a tan but not as much as anyone else she knows.

Sometimes people think Desiree is a shy and timid person because of her figure, but if you get to know her you would think otherwise.

Desiree has a fiery personality but one of her traits that stand out the most is her rebellious traits, they always sem to land her in trouble and her other traits dont help her worm out of trouble easily. For one, she has way to much self confidence, which will make her talk back and get into fights or arguments.She is also very hot-headed and outgoing. As a child she used to do daring things like climb very high trees because of her daring personality, she never knew when to draw the line because her mother never restricted her.

Once again Desiree has flaws, lots of them. She is always very emotional and snappy. She is also a bit on the spoiled side. Her popularity and spoiled personality always get in the way of her common sense. Some people think she has no common sense at all.

Desiree has never known her father because he ran away when he found out her mother was pregnant. Her mother always tried ro make her as lady-like and proper as she could when she was a child but finally gave up and decided to start abusing her instead. Nobody ever knew but Desiree and her mom because her mother used to only hurt her where no one could see like on her stomach, or she verbally- abused her calling her stupid, or screaming at her every night about how it was Desiree's fault her father left her mother. You may think that made her anti-social but instead it made her make many friends so she could stay away from home as much as she could.

On her birhdays she used to go to the black market with her friends and steal sweets or cakes and eat them in their " hideout" which was an old den under some tree roots of an oak tree. Eventually her mother found out and chopped down the tree and gave Desiree such a bearing that her stomach is still covered in scars from which her mother cut and scratched her.

Desiree finally got sick of this and moved out when she was 14 going to her friends house. Eventually her friend's famil didnt jave enough money to support them all so they had to force her to move out on her own. She had nowhere to stay so she slept on doorsteps scavenging for food. When an old qoman named Sata found her she took her in and cares for her to this day.
