Appearance:

Just like any other inhabitant of the Career districts, it shows in her face and general appearance that Solange lives well. With long, cascading brown hair, and blues eyes, Solange does have looks that even other inhabitants of District 1 envy. Little do they know that Solange spends more time applying make-up and products than she does actually showing off the results.

Despite being an inhabitant of one of the Career Districts, Solange doesn't like to over do her appearance. In terms of clothing, she does wear all the latest trends, though she like to stick to dull colours rather than vibrant ones, stating they reflect her personality more, much to the disdain of her mother. Solange does like to wear jewellery, but tends to keep it simple, as she believes the other inhabitants looked 'weighed down' by it all.

Solange is relatively short, standing at about 5"7, and is obviously well-fed. Pale by birth, Solange actually believes to be one of her most endearing traits. That, and she can't stand the artifical tanning products that other spray on.

Personality:

Solange isn't your typical inhabitant of he Career Districts, much due to her profession : Tribute Stylist. Not willing to flaunt her wealth, despite no one around to show, Solange is very altruistic, as far as an inhabitant of District 1 can be.

Simplistic by nature, evidence of that can be found in her appartements, clothing and work life. Being extravagant in styling tributes means just over complicating the task at hand : beautifying the condemned. Most of styles thus reflect her personality.

As the games go by, Solange grows more and more sick of her job, yet doesn't quit, because she loves what she does. However, the weight of it all has taken it's toll on Solange, making her seem more distant than anything else. She prefers to keep to herself and rarely smiles, unless necessary. This is due to her constant attachment to the tribute that she gets, no matter what district they are from. Solange gets too close and then sends them off to die.

One of her kwirks is she likes to make mental notes outloud, causing a lot of awkward situations in whcih other believe her to be talking to them, sometimes insulting. No matter how ahrd she tries, she can't get rid of the habit. Also, she does not deal very well with complications, big or small. Some would even go so far as to call Solange a diva, saying her temper can be quite hard to handle.

History:

Born and raised by a stylist herself, Solange never lacked for anything. You'd obviously say she was lucky to be born in District 1, but Solange would beg to differ. Always wondering what's beyond those walls and hearing stories from the tributes she styles, Solange has begun to think life has much more to offer than what can be found in District 1.

Only daughter of a mother stylist and a father District offical, Solange was always expected to do something great. Turns out she was a natural with a brush, like her mother, though her primary motivation was to get a taste, no matter how small, of the outside world.

Life was calm for Solange : no accidents, no deaths, was never picked during Reapings, always watching from behind a screen. Sometimes Solange wondered what life would be like if she had been picked for some Games. Better or worst? She'll never know. For a while, she wished she had been picked and had died, but when she was safe from Reapings, those thoughts disppeared.
