Personality:
Morgaine has a short, narrow and smooth face with a petite built nose and somewhat full lips. Her eyes are about the "average size" with "average" blue irises. No brilliant colors to light up her eyes. Just a normal shade of blue. On the bridge of her nose is a scar, just a small one, from where a few years back she was in training when a boy's knife cut her nose for a few quick seconds before she socked him in the gut.
Morgaine is around 5'7 with what always seems to be a cocky smirk on her face, or a mournful, hollow look that seems to haunt everyone that looks at her. Her eyes, though average, contain so much emotion, negative and positive, that her Mother used to say "Could see straight into the souls of everyone." Morgaine denied it. She's no voodoo witch girl.
Morgaine has pale skin, despite the semi warm climate of her home district. She tends to stay inside alot, training her heart out as a dedicated and blood thirsty career. Her long legs have a few white scars on them, but one, that is one her back, all the way up, has damaged her motor skills slightly. She was in training when a career sliced her back with their sword. She fell, lost a lot of blood, and discovered that she would never be able to walk fully normal again. This horrified the career, who was out of training for a year in rehab. She's gained most of what she's lost back, but whenever she runs for too long or does anything too straining, she will wobble, loose balance, become dizzy, fall, or in a rare occasion, pass out. That's why her training is not as extensive as it used to be. She loathes it.
Morgaine is very quite, a loner at heart. She likes to stand away from the crowd, she always felt like a nerd and outcast thanks to bullies when she was just starting school. They mocked her for having a brother that had a severe disability. They mocked her for having a fat, old father. They mocked her for having a mother that was killed in the games. When she was young, sitting off by herself was just an everyday thing for Morgaine. She didn't mind it. She actually liked being lost in her own thought while kids taunted her from a distance.History:
Once she started training as a career, she, in a way, came out of her shell and started talking a bit. At first it was just a few muffled curse words, then it was full sentences yelled at her fellow careers from a distance. Being a career had helped bring what every girl should have to Morgaine- the right to chatter.
Before that she was shy, her gaze always said to haunt someone wherever they go. She sometimes you let a whisper escape her lips, but otherwise was a silent girl. She didn't mind being bullied, for she was a understanding type of person. She knew bullies bullied because they had pain in their life, or at least thought so. Morgaine sometimes still thinks she's a brilliant know it all.
With her training, it also brought a new side of the shy, haunting girl everybody thought they knew. She got vicious. Having her hands on some sort of weapon made her blood run cold like no other thing had ever done. It mad this hunger flare in her stomach. The first kid that she had ever remember bullying her, she had a "mock" battle and ended up giving her a scarred face. She kept fighting. Whenever she got angry (which was more and more as her bloodlust grew) she would march down to the training cent and just attack everything in site. While she wold she would scream that she hated the Hunger Games but couldn't stop killing. Her brutality ended shortly after the wound to her back. She had injured many children. As Morgaine lay in the bed her old self almost returned, but with talking. She was still stubborn as a rock, ordering the many doctors that came to see her to fix her.
After the injury and returning as a career, she picked up a weapon and started attacking like she used to. She fell over. This made Morgaine, the big bully, start to cry. She can't stand the fact that she will never be normal again. She actually cries over this loss a lot. It has shattered her.
Morgaine will sometimes have short bouts of crying, thinking of all the pain in her life, her parents, her step mother, the injury, sometimes even the bullies she acted like she didn't care about will all just overwhelm her at once and bring her down to that haunting, silent girl she used to be.
She was born as an only child to Elly and Ed Simonette, two young kids looking for love in a world of hate. They were married when they were sixteen, which even though Panem makes adults out of kids early, was a bit strange. When Elly was eighteen she gave birth to Morgaine. Morgaine was only a few weeks old when her mother was reaped. She was killed in the games.Codeword: oDair
After the death of his wife, Morgaine's father turned to the bottle. Most of the day he would sit around the house drinking and acting on his own drunken mind. Elly's sister would often come to take care of Morgaine, but eventually got so scared of Ed's drunken rampages that stopped.
For a while, Ed was able to get sober. He married again as an old, fat man when his daughter was seven. By then Morgaine was used to being alone, and even though the schoolkids teased her for having a fat, drunk father and a Hunger Games murdered mother, she actually liked it. Ed's wife was a female peacekeeper. She was cold and harsh to Morgaine. The new wife loathed children, so when Ed had asked her to marry him, me left the part about his Motherless child out.
The marriage of Ed and the peacekeeper lasted for three years, when Morgaine was ten. In that three year period as the marriage got worse and worse, Ed turned to the bottle again, and in his drunken rampages would often beat Morgaine and his wife. Morgaine's step mother had became more accustomed to Morgaine, until finally, she warmed up to the girl and acted like her Mother. Morgaine had already started training, and would sometimes fight back against her drunken father. When the peacekeeper, named Noel, finally divorced her slob of a husband, she took Morgaine with her.
She encouraged Morgaine to train as hard as she could as a career. Morgaine listened to Noel, for even though she had been cruel before, Morgaine now saw her as her Mother. She fought hard to impress her step mother. Before long was her injury. Her step mother was by her side for every step of the way, trying to help her gain everything she had before, which she never got. After that, Noel was hit by a flying knife while watching her daughter train and was killed.
