Wren Livendroe -- District 10

Wren is relatively tall girl at 5’6”, with tanned skin from picking and being on her family’s farm/ranch. Her hair is long and black, always looking as though it’s full of shine. Her hair appears to just capture the sunlight perfectly. Her eyes are an emerald green and when Wren looks at you, it appears as if she’s peering into your soul. She has strong, tough hands from working with cattle and in the fields her whole life.

She’s not particularly busty, basically average. Wren doesn’t think of herself or her appearance much, but if someone were ask her, she’d probably say she was okay or average, when actually she’s slightly prettier than average. Wren generally wears cheap t-shirts without much color in them (such as white or grey), since dyed clothes cost considerably more. She has only a couple of jeans which are very worn and tight on her, and occasionally wears cut-off shorts. As for shoes, Wren only has one pair, as does the rest of her family. They are worn, slightly ripped sneakers made of cheap material.

Wren is a strong girl who weighs about 114 pounds. Since she’s worked most of her life, Wren is very skilled with knifes and fire. She can kill an animal without thinking about it, as well as deal with blood and injuries well.

Wren is a very independent girl. She can handle herself, and will not put up with anything from anyone. She’s very caring for her family and those who are close to her; you that if you have Wren’s trust that you are forever safe. She works hard and fast, as having been trained to be, living in District 10.

Wren has helped raise her two younger siblings, as she was partly raised by her older brother, so she has a high level of maturity for her age, as well as responsibility. Someone could hand her a baby and she could take care of it as if it were her own. As for knowledge, Wren is average with school. She doesn’t excel in school, but she also doesn’t fail, either.

Wren has flaws, too, as anyone does. She’s particularly impulsive, which leads her to make mistakes that could be easily avoided. She’s also pretty feisty, and a little overly protective, which can be good, but when someone messes with Wren, she’ll strike back. Her anger is generally intense, and a simple “sorry” most likely will upset her more.

As a child, Wren was always with her brother, Beau, who practically raised her. She watched him, and learned the ways of how their family farm worked. He taught Wren most of what she knows about animals, plants and anything else related to their farm. Wren and her brother are very close, and she puts full trust into him.

Wren’s family own (as stated above) a small farm where they grow some agriculture (mostly vegetables), but mostly raise cattle and other animals. They give away the majority of their food to the Capitol, and the other part they sell at the Seam. A very limited amount is saved for their family of six. Wren and Beau are usually the ones who have to sell the farm products at the Seam. Even then, the family doesn’t make much money, but they aren’t extremely poor such as Katniss’ was in the original book.

Wren has two younger siblings, one older, and her parents. Her younger brother and sister are twins; Musa, her sister, is the elder twin and Phlox, her brother, is the younger; both of them are 11. Wren’s parents, Adaline and Markus, have been happily married since they were both 19, both of them managing never to get reaped. And then there’s Beau, Wren’s older brother, who is 18 and in his last year of eligibility to be reaped. The family has no pets but a horse, which they somehow acquired, whose name is Carrot.
