Appearance:
Josh is about an inch shorter than the average height. He has a face that is a tad bit long. His hair is a lighter brown, with mixed tans in it. His eyes are darker brown, and they are almost always dilated. When he's lying he blinks about seven times faster than usual, which is totally noticeable.Personality:
Josh has a pretty good build, but nothing really special. He's pretty average looking, not much to distinguish him with. His hands are rough and calloused due to the type of work that has to be done in District 12. His skin tone is a bit more tan than the usual olive skin of many in District 12. He has large feet too, so it's difficult to find shoes most of the time.
Josh has a bit of an over-protective personality. He's very controlling, and he is oblivious to others' ideas or suggestions. He hates not being in control, and if an idea he brings up is rejected, he'll go off on his own and use his own idea. If his attempts fail, though, he'll come back and pretend like the original plan was all his.History:
Josh likes being self-sufficient. He can't stand not do be able to do something. He likes to think that he can survive on his own. His mindset is for him to do everything without assistance, even if it costs him everything.
He won't accept help from anyone, and he tries to make it appear like his ideas and plans are the best for everyone. Josh is overbearing at times and likes to take advantage of people who aren't as skilled as him. He's a wonderful persuader, and examines body language well enough.
The only problem is that Josh is a terrible liar. While his stories may be good, if you're looking at him straight in the eyes, he blinks way too fast. So Josh usually doesn't look at people when he's talking so that they won't be able to tell if he's actually telling the truth or not.
Josh has both parents, unlike many in Twelve. His parents basically left him to his own devices when he turned sixteen though. Ever since he's been running his own pawn&retail shop. It's been running pretty well, and there's not much that his parents can keep him from doing. The only thing that keeps Josh alive is his shop, and it's business has been declining lately.Codeword: Odair
His mother, Mary, is a stout elderly woman, and she is just about ready for Death to knock on her door. She's really stubborn though, so she doesn't like for people to do things for her either. Mary is a loving and advocative mother, always telling Josh to do what he wants to, as long as it's what's right. Her support for Josh is basically what got his whole 'self-sufficient' kick started.
His father is a large and lazy man. His name is Carl. He often has nothing important to do. He's always trying to force someone to do something that he could easily do himself. Josh isn't really fond of his father, but they agree on some major subjects. His father rarely supports him and doesn't really care about what Josh does as long as he makes it home in time to put dinner on the table.
