River Vacarro district 12

River has shaggy surfer looking bleach blonde hair that he rarely cuts. He is tall with long limbs. He is 6'0 and weighs 140 lbs. He has a narrow jaw and wide forehead. His eyes are the color of a frozen river, a pale blue with specks of gray and white. His eyes are rounded and large.

His nose is straight with a small bump on the bridge and the tip is slightly turned up. His nose is medium sized. His lips are a faint rose color and small but rounded. His skin is a sunkissed color with rosy cheeks. He has muscles and is always covered in dirt and bruises.

River looks a bit mean on the exterior but he's just trying to get by. He's very charming and flirtatious with girls. Some people call him rude, but he just speaks his mind and tells it like it is. As a friend or boyfriend he's very caring, loving and protective while if he doesnt like you he doesn't hide his feelings. Towards his family, he will do anything for them, even if it means something illegal or doing something that is frowned upon.

River has a really close relationship with his sister Rhee, as they are very close in age and really good friends. He is the main source of food in his family, as he works at the Bakery and sometimes ( if he has to) steals bread for his family. He knows how to do things without getting caught and teaches his sister Rhee his tricks. He gets okay grades in school but doesn't really care. He wants to do something better with his life than just living in poverty in district 12, he wants a future.

He's a rebel, he marches to his own drum and no one can stop him. He knows how to use a knife and uses it for protection. He has a heart, but sometimes is reckless and does things without thinking. He does drink occasionally, when he wants to. He's overall a good person, with good intensions but sometimes the result is bad.

River was born into the Vacarro family and has been working since he was about 7 or 8. He went to school and tried to do well so that he could do something with his life. He started working at the bakery when he was only 12 years old to make a bit of money for his family. Both his parents work, his father in the mines and his mother makes clothes. They have an ok income, but are always barely scraping along. They usually have enough money for food and sometimes new clothing, but that's extremely rare.
Since his mother makes clothing, River always wore hand made clothes from his mom and has a few pieces of clothing that he got as gifts. He has treasured his family forever and wants a better life for them all. His family has always been close and family is the most important thing to him.
Since he's the oldest, he's expected to be responsible and take care of the family. He has stolen things before, but all for good reasons. When he was 14 he started dating Emee. Emee has sparkling green eyes and carmel colored curls that are usually pulled back into a messy bun. Her hair goes down to her lower back and she's petite with small hands. She has a pointed nose and full lips.
After about a year or so, Emee got caught stealing and before River could try and somehow take the blame or try to explain an excuse, she was shot, there and then. River had lost his love and had blamed himself, but slowly recovered from the sorrow. He still remembers Emee in the back of his mind, but knows she would want him to be happy. River wants love but is he ready to move on?
