Appearance:

Cat is very petite and skinny. She is not very strong or muscular , even compared to other ten-year olds. Her hair is dark brown and is in tightly curled ringlets. Her lips are thin and long and are light pink. Her skin is generally a dark brown. Her eyes are coffee toned and she has long , thick eye lashes. She doesn't have thick eyebrows , but they are quite dark. Her nose is ;like the rest of her; petite.

For clothing , she has a fondness for anything with flowers on it. Although , she doesn't always get to dress the way her personal style dictates. Despite her misgivings , She thinks that the clothes she does have are perfect for playing. Her clothing has many holes and rips , but she doesn't seem to care. Her feet are the real problem. On her left foot , she has a crippled toe. It has always been there but continues to hinder her. It is bent to the side and curled inwards.

Personality:

Cat is a very withdrawn and shy girl. She will only speak to her mother. Several people have made fun of her saying things like " hey avox girl , why aren't you in the capitol?". She is also a very emotional , sensitive child. She reacts to these encounters strongly , often crying and hiding from everyone.

She really hates bullies and often asks her mother to go lecture them. She does really love her mother. She confides everything in her. Many people think that her silence is as a result of being from a small family. She is an only child and her dad divorced her mom when she was only 4. Needless to say , she has no recollection of him.

Even though she is only 10 , Cat frequently falls into a deep depression. She tells her self that nothing matters anymore and her life is worthless. Her mind often stays in this depression mode for weeks. She is also often pessimistic and this just adds to the symptoms of her depression. She often brings other people down with her and this can be a problem.

History:

History: Cat was born in the year of the 49th hunger games to Auvitta Jennings and Rohal Jennings. She is not as poor as many others in district 11 , but has still frequently missed meals. Her home is a small shack by the fields , like so many others in their district. She has wondered who her dad is and what he was like for the majority of her life. Her mother, refuses to speak of it , in favor of moving on.

Her dream in life is to help those in extreme poverty. She already gives part of her lunch to a different starving worker everyday. Although , she has always felt she could do more.Since the age of 5 , she has been working in the orchards. One time , she saw a starving girl no older than herself. She plucked an apple , and instead of putting it in the collection bucket, she passed it to the little girl. She knew that this would upset the peacekeepers and she did it anyway.


Ever since then , she has had an ever so small rebellious streak. She would never do anything that could be noticed by the masses. Her favorite thing to do was to steal a little bit of the food and give it to starving people. She figured that stealing wasn't as bad if she did it to help people. She started to slowly build rebellious thoughts , but would never dare to share them.
