Sierra Raine District 11

Sierra is 5'6" tall. She has a golden tan and strong muscles. She is slim and has a few freckles sprinkled across her nose. She wears contacts. She is also never seen without her locket that contains the pictures of her two older sisters who died in the arena a few years earlier.

Sierra's eyes are aqua blue. She has long, wavy, blond hair. She has rather long eyelashes. Her nose is turned up in a slight slope. Also her lips are a light pink color. She has a small scar just above her left eyebrow. She also has another scar on the back of her neck. She recieved these from a peace keeper when she was caught sneaking in after curfew.

Sierra is quiet and shy. She doesn't talk much. But she will if need be. She is too shy to openly approach someone and ask to be friends. She only has two very close friends that she has known since childhood. She likes to be alone so she can think about things happening around her.

Sierra is brave and loyal. She will stand up for what she believes in. Even though she is shy she will stand up for others. She is extremely loyal to her friends and family. She would never do anything to try to hurt them. She is always there for them. If someone is doing something to hurt her friends Sierra will always try to help.

Sierra is caring and kind. She is nice to everyone. Including the people who do not like her and are not nice to her. She sees the good in everyone. She will take care of anyone who is sick or wounded. Even though this may come back to hurt her later she still does it.

Sierra has 4 younger sisters. They are 9, 6, 4, and 2 months old. She had two older sisters who died in the arena 6 and 7 years earlier. Her mom is the district healer and her dad works in the fields. Sierra sometimes works for the district baker so she can earn some extra money for her family. The district baker gives Sierra any loafs of bread that are deemed not suitable for the customers after she finishes working for him. This helps feed her family which is rather large.

Sierra grew up idolizing her older sisters. After her oldest sister died Sierra's parents decided that they should start training their kids in secret for the Hunger Games. Sierra's dad would sneak into the forest with the older kids in the middle of the night. He knew that if they were ever caught they could possibly be killed. They would train while everyone else was asleep and would come back in the wee hours of the morning before anyone would possibly be awake. Then one year later Sierra's other older sister was called into the arena. She didn't even make it past the cornucopia before a district 1 boy killed her. Sierra was crushed to learn that her last older sister was dead. Realizing her parents training wasn't enough she told her parents that she was done training with them and that they should stop training the younger kids. Soon Sierra began training herself.

Sierra began her training every morning before anyone else was awake by running 3 miles into the woods. There she would practice her archery and spearing until it was time for her to take care of her siblings while her parents worked. After her parents finished working and were safely asleep Sierra would go for another 3 mile run into the woods. This time she practiced fighting and hunting until she was to tired too continue. Then she would sneak back into town and fall asleep in her bed knowing she wouldn't get much sleep. She knew that if she ever got caught she would be killed for rule breaking.
