Appearance:
Rossana Winters is a 14 year old girl who doesn't have a home or assigned District. She has long, cork-screw locks in a dark chocolate color with sun streaks. Her eyes are set close to her slightly large nose. Her lips are full, but constantly chapped from the wind near the ocean where she prefers to stay.

Rossana is short for her age, around five foot one, and very slim. Her most impacting feature is her eyes, light green with a blue ring. Her skin, surprisingly, is a milky white color. Rossana can usually be spotted wearing ripped, stained black pants, a grey tank top cut to above her belly button, and tawny colored boots that she keeps in as good as shape possible.

Personality:
Rossana has learned over time the easiest thing to do is be quiet and learn from listening. However, this doesn't mean she dislikes adventure, often shes running from bees or mad hunters. And one occasion a troop of very nasty Peacekeepers in District 11. Also Rossana is light on her feet and can easily reach the top of trees to hide. She has lived for years off of plants alone and little meat.

Rossana lives off the motto "prepare for the worst, but expect the best". Meaning she always comes overstocked on everything that's a nessecity. Yet she forgets the lest important things, like thread for fixing jackets. She can steal a whole loaf of bread but can't steal a ribbon without feeling guilty.

Rossana has some issues with being head strong, if someone challenges her she feels she has to recklessly beat them in whatever it was. Another thing is her strong trait is her weakest: her courage. The courage she had to get to the top of the mountain made her forget about getting down. Often this gets her into some pretttty sticky situations.

Not all people can be 100% flawed, Rossana can write tales with characters so real you wonder if you've met them. Which also means she can lie herself out of the stickest of situations. Her other strong points are hand-to-hand combat and stalking. Both come in handy when someone is invading her space, it doesn't mean she'll always win, with her weight against her, but she tries hard and puts up a fight.

History:
Rossana was left in the woods by district 12 when she was 7. Rossana claims her parents were caught and hid her before they could turn their only child into an Avox. She's wandered from the coast to the ruin of District 13 and realizes one of her parents is from District 4 and another from 11. A kindred woman named Celica took her in, but died the summer Rossana turned 11.

The past two years have not been a picnic for her, she went from having a care taker to suddenly being alone. With no home, just one meal left pre-prepared. Celica and her moved through the Districts doing the occasional work and staying in whatever shelter they could find. Often they had impersonated someone and were thrown in the barracks for a day. The worst time was when Rossana ran into a Peacekeeper and she was whipped for the turkey hanging over her shoulder.

Childhood... what childhood? All Rossana can recall is running, from one place to the next. Going hungry for what felt like months but was actually only one. All she remembers is a glimpse of her fathers iderecsent eyes and her moms tall figure... not much of a childhood. No toys, no games, no dolls, just running from one place to another. Rossana was simply forced to grow up fast.
