Age: 16
Gender: Female
District/Area: District 11
Appearance:
Juno has a slender frame, but for her appearance she is very strong. Her hair is a dark brown color, and it is usually tangled. Her eyes are a dark brown, almost black, and her skin is dark from working in the orchards so often.Personality:
Her fingers are long, slender, and calloused from careful harvesting of the fruit that grows in the orchards and from gathering crops in the fields. She is of average height and underweight.
Juno is the quiet, introvert type. She isn't a very optimistic person and prefers to keep to herself. When provoked, she can get quite ruthless and snappy. Though quiet, she would not hesitate to hurt someone if she felt they deserved it.History:
The girl's favorite thing to do is climb. In the trees, she feels almost free from her life in Panem. Despite having to work in the orchards, she likes her work.
Juno is constantly thinking things in her head and can be lost in her own thoughts if she doesn't focus. She also almost never smiles, and her pessimistic attitude most often drives people away, even though she doesn't purposely do it. She longs for a friend or someone to be close to.
From a young age she started working in the fields, working hard just like her parents taught her. When she was a little girl, there was a bad famine. Everyone in the district was malnourished, and the Peacekeepers threatened that if anyone stole crops, they would be whipped to death. Juno's parents ignored the threat to bring food home to keep them all alive, but the Peacekeepers found out and killed them. Juno was sent to a community home. She has been there ever since.Codeword: odair
In the home, she lost her once happy and optimistic personality for a much darker and sad one. She grew up watching the Hunger Games on the television with the other kids, and those images were imbedded in her head. She welcomed the Games. It was, in her mind, a way for others to share her own pain, and if she were picked for the games ever, she would do whatever she could to win, to maybe make herself happy.
Since her parents' deaths, she was been very quiet. She hasn't gotten close enough to anyone to feel any sort of connection to other humans, so she prefers to keep away from others.
All in all, Juno hasn't lived a very happy life, and she is constantly in a world of pain that she masks with being quiet.
Comments/Other:
She seems hopeless, but if it came down to it and she gained some friends, I think her personality would change drastically, even though many people in Panem are as miserable or worse than she is.
