An eyebrow that was slightly darker than the rest of the small girl's sun bleached hair was arched high, arms that were so thin they looked like they could snap from the smallest amount of pressure were folded neatly over her chest as dark brown eyes took in the appearance of the male before her with a slightly questioning look.
"You alright?"
The words were in her usual, slightly higher than most females pitched voice. The boy hadn't looked like he was dreaming of anything pleasant, though even if he had been here wouldn't be the place, it didn't look like he much with him but there was always the odd person willing to try steal whatever they could see of even slight value.
"You looked like you were having a bad dream"
And that was just Tessa's usual, busy-bodied self. After a few moments gaze would flicker back to the ocean, where she had obviously just come from due to the soaking wet hair and skin still shiny from the water. She would wriggle her toes, almost smiling faintly at the feeling of the sand between them. She could safely say she almost pitied the other districts, even the higher up ones, since no one else had the luxury of a beach - it was all theirs, solely for their district to enjoy.
