Fledger RellsGet me out of here right now
I just wanna be free.
The second he stepped inside the tower, he knew something was wrong. This couldn't be the same tower. A day earlier the landscape had consisted of sand, and not much else. Now, it was as if an oasis had sprouted overnight. As far as he could see, there were lush, green trees and undergrowth. He stared, mouth hanging open, for a few minutes. It had to be the same tower. He'd traveled in exactly the same direction he had come from the day before. What did that mean? Was the arena changing every day? Fledger couldn't wrap his head around the idea that what had been here yesterday was gone today. Shaking it off, he took a few steps into the rainforest.
He could have stayed there forever. It was beautiful, with the summer-green leaves above and soft ground beneath. It was so quiet too, compared to the storm raging outside. As he walked, he realized that there was one sound breaking the calming quiet - the soft trickle of a stream. Immediately, he rush for it, nearly dropping his things as he ran. There, just ahead, he could see it now. Flinging the items he'd carried since the Bloodbath to the ground, he knelt down and stuck his face in the water. He managed one enormous gulp before reminding himself to drink slowly, so he could keep it down. The water was cool and delicious. He doubted he'd ever taste something so sweet again in his whole life.

He sat back on his heels, tilting his head back. It felt so good to drink again. He felt so much more alive now. He didn't have a weapon, and he was battered from the sandstorm, but he felt confident that he could at least try to take on another tribute. He'd rather go down fighting than doing nothing at all.
