When I'm gone, don't bury me
I will not lie under this town
I will not lie where I can't see
Please don't put me underground[/size]

It was strange, but it was not the strange creatures hiding in each patch of shade that scared Shrol. It wasn’t the impending death that he could smell in every lungful of air, nor the fact that, after a day of nothing ‘exciting’ happening to him, he was well overdue for the Gamemakers to direct some form of mutt in his direction, if not a fellow tribute. It was the disorientation, the lack of knowledge of where he was at any point in time. He moved from one tower to another- or perhaps they were all the same. It was like a staged dance, and when Shrol returned to the center of the stage, the set around him would change so that he could recognize it no longer. No matter where in the arena he was, the weather did not change. The air stayed sitting upon him like a freshly dead body, warm and floppy, though eerily scary. The sounds he heard- though they were few and far between- were muffled, like there was an ocean between him and them. Oh, what he would give for a biting cold breeze, for a morning chorus of birds, for something that resembled a bed and for a frosty night with a family huddled around their little fire. Oh, what he would give to be home.
He didn’t even know how long he had been in here for. Days had turned into months into weeks into years, in his head, although he knew that the sun could not have set more than six or seven times. This morning he had made his way into one of the innumerable towers that rose at any occasion as they so wanted. The arid landscape with little vegetation bar dry scrub would have matched a hot try temperature, but no, it stayed the same unpleasant warm. Perhaps here there would be food to be caught, but it didn’t seem to be a place where he could find water.
{Sorry for the shitty post}
Though I may be relatively young
I hope in the final moments
I hear every song I've ever sung
