Ciper Vynn, District 11

Ciper is short and thin, roughly 5 feet and 90 pounds, and has straight ashen-blonde hair down to his neck. He owns deep blue eyes, and dry, tan skin. He wears a sweatshirt his mother crocheted him out of the spare thread and yarn from her tailoring business. Ciper wears hand-me-down pants, as well. He generally doesn't wear socks or shoes.
Ciper's wears his sweatshirt every day, and he would no-doubtedly take it as his token if he was to be drawn at the reaping. It is checkered grey and alternating orange/lavender. Ciper does have boots, but he only uses them when the snow is too deep. His hands are all scratched up from climbing trees all day, and so are his feet, but he still doesn't wear shoes. Lastly, he has a scar on his left leg from when he got stung by a tracker jacker at age 4; his mother was in their house, and he removed the stinger at an angle and so scraped his leg, leaving the scar.

Ciper Vynn is a clever guy and likes to keep to himself. Although he isn't generally found with other kids, he is sometimes seen talking to the animals. He knows they don't understand them but decided they make better company than others. Ciper feels that if he made friends, he would feel too overly depressed if he lost one.
Ciper's sister likes to show him around, and she's the only one he spends his free time with. His mother is comforting, but is busy. His parents divorced, and his father remarried. Although his mother urges him to visit, he doesn't feel like he should be with someone who abandoned him as a child.
Most of his family is noticeably rebellious to the Capitol, but he doesn't mind it. He doesn't eat much, and he couldn't ask for a better family, excepting his father. He claims he is happier than anyone in the capitol, and he doesn't care for luxuries like lounging. Unfortunately, he isn’t well prepared for adult life with this mindset.

Ciper’s grandfather, Cyprus Rosh, was a soldier in the war between the Capitol and the Districts. Cyprus was out on a raiding mission to the Capitol when his home, district 13, was destroyed. Fortunately for Cyprus, he had relatives in District 11 as well. He moved to district 11 and married Willow Shrall and started a family. He grew to the old age of 48, beating out starvation and sickness. He died of a bite from a poisonous snake exactly one day after his birthday.
Cyprus had a daughter, Meadow Rosh, who lived with him until 15, when he died. That same year, she was called to be in the Hunger Games. Luckily, District 11’s first and only girl career tribute became eligible that year. Obviously, she took Meadow’s place at the reaping. Rather than living on her own after her father’s death, she sought out her relatives and lived with them.
Ciper was the son of Meadow Rosh and Ciper Vynn Sr. Now that his parents are divorced, he is ashamed to wear the same name as his father. His father worked in the field, but Ciper’s uncle lived luxuriously. You might wonder how his uncle Carson managed that. Simply, he won the Hunger Games. When Carson was 14, he was called at the reaping. He stuffed himself with food before the games, found a hiding place, and slept for 3 days. He managed to find food until his remaining opponent, who had killed practically everyone else in those 3 days, starved to death. Ciper visits his uncle occasionally, and he is proud of Carson.

Ciper is not particularly strong but fairly quick. He has excellent hand-eye and hand-foot coordination. He isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, you must understand, but he can and does get things done.
