The morning sun in District Four washed over her tanned skin as she made her way out of her house near the beach she liked to “waste her time” according to her father. Today she was going to look for something else to do. Rowan was ultimately bored with her friends and wanted someone new to talk to. Someone new to taint. Maybe the beach would be a good place. She started a lazy stroll to the beach, taking the time to admire the blandness of it all. There was no meaning to anything at all. She was just there.
