What can I do
When I can't stop thinking of you
Dawn had barely broken the over the horizon, while the streets lay partially empty. A cool breeze had taken hold on the air that morning. Dust swirled about the empty corridors that were created by the housing being so close together. Almost no sounds could be heard but the roar of the waves rolling into the docks early, a bell dinging that echoed off the buildings and the dragging of a hand weaved net. Baku, as his family called him, was limping down the street with his new net in hand. The average height boy's black hair shone in the very early rays of sunlight. He was alone for the time being. Hikari glanced over his shoulder, picking up the net so it would stop dragging. The net was fairly large as he gritted his teeth. He'd only worn a simple shirt outside without a jacket. It was a bit foolish, but he hadn't expected this. The boy just wanted to hurry and get rid of this net and away from the docks as fast as he could.
Baku's brown eyes searched the ground before him. The sea broke his line of vision as he came atop a hill, stumbling slightly as his boot caught a rock. Unfortunately he didn't catch himself and soon found himself upon the ground, his feet tangled in his carefully crafted net to boot. Baku turned over effortlessly as he reached down to free his tangled feet. A patient smile sitting on his face, he'd stayed up all night to finish it after all. The 17 year old patiently got up without a word. He hadn't even uttered a grunt as the ground came upon his body fast. Instead he just gathered up his large net, fixing it over his shoulder again before heading back down the hill. Hikari paused momentarily though. He found himself staring at the sunrise, with a quiet smile plastered on his face. Arms crossed over his chest, he looked like a child, he had a slightly boyish face yet. He'd managed to tune out the bell of the docks now as the small district was slowly coming to life. He could almost imagine a world without the capital, almost.
