It was a saturday. It was the very day that Lirit made it a habit, or more so a religious practice that she went out to the levy and drank her heart out. Well, more so one part whiskey and one part rye, wishing that somebody would redeem the human species from the day the music died. She wished for this fully, and it made her happy to know that she was helping herself stay alive in the afterlife. It was her one hope and plan, and she knew that it was going to be her most devoted moment of life, despite the fact that it was a weekly thing and really wasn't that big of a religious ritual in everyone elses eyes. In most other peoples eyes, she was really just getting drunk by the river that used to ship the items when the district was a shipping district. And then she'd curl up and sit for hours, wondering what the angel born in hell would think of her actions. It was her spirit guide, or the person in the religion that was told to guide her. Every person in the world had one of the six figures, and hers turned out to be the angel born in hell, who was a prophet but at the same time, was manipulative and twisted. She was fine with it, but never thought about it.
She smiled into the sun as she waited for it to finally go down so she could head home, but for the moment, it wasn't horrid to have everything quiet and serene.. And she wasn't playing piano. Which was something she should be doing....
