A Tough Life(Kyalee and Supersam) [D 11]

I walked out of my house, closing the door gently, partly because I didn't want anyone to hear my departure and partly because I was afraid the door might give out at any moment. I walked down the street, keeping to the shadows and avoiding the groups of talking people. I didn't want to have anyone delay me from reaching my goal for any longer. Today was a crisp, fresh smelling day. The ground had a nice layer of snow on it that crunched as I made my way to the market square.
The constant rush and talking of people made the blood in my body go a little faster. I was almost to my special place... The place where you don't need to care about laws or peacekeepers, or even starvation. I could just make out the outlines of the single rope that shouldn't hold anybody's weight. In my hast I bump into a boy walking in the street.
"Oh I'm sorry are you alright?" I said to him, hating myself a little for being so blinded by this one small joy of mine.
