Evreything Comes With a Price (Anyone?)

Fletcher tapped his fingers on the desk. Only five minutes left... He thought to himself. Fletcher was in school, which really wasn't needed for kids in district eleven. Here, everybody knew that they would be working out on the fields, farming with their families for the rest of their lives. And quite frankly, working in the agricultural business doesn't require much of an education. As the final bell rang, Fletcher slung his backpack full of homework, passed out tests and quizzes, and handouts.

When he got outside the door, Fletcher was glad to see his two siblings, Anna and Danny, already waiting for him. Anna and Danny were his only two siblings who were old enough to go to school. With Anna being ten and Danny being eight, taking care of his younger brothers and sisters was whole another job to worry about.

Fletcher took the hand of his younger sister and brother and walked them home for the day. This point of his schedule was quite peacefull, getting to know how the younger kid's day went, and even singing a few carols along the way. However Fletcher knew that this time was only meant to last a moment or two. After dropping them off, Fletcher was required to work in the fields for the rest of the day. He sighed as the sight of the rustic home came into sight.

After dropping Anna and Danny off at the door, Fletcher gave his two siblings goodbye and set off for the fields. Fletcher sighed and waited for the long afternoon ahead of him.
