A Way For The Wandering -- Natic

With the tight close of the door did the click of its mechanism give a brief resound throughout the house, the white marble walls becoming illuminated with the intriguing lights that hung here and there, and the white and blue marble floor becoming visible under their feet. The two took of their shoes, first Altar and then Araval, as they stood parted in the archway, surely tired from the day's work. There was undoubtedly an exhausted vibe in the air that the both of them were portraying. Aren scanned his father, noticing just how burned out he was by seeing his slow movements, watching him as he put down one accessory after another, his face exposing dark circles under his eyes. This and more he noted, as Altar leaned some to set down his briefcase, his body slow to react as Araval carefully took a folder from his hands in which he seemed to be holding idly, as he distributed it to its proper place for Altar. Turning back to his father and making eye contact, just as he glanced at his platinum watch, Aren assumed his father's words and addressed it beforehand. "I'll catch you in the morning, dad. Get some sleep." He seemed to think this over with combined what he had been about to say, but after a short while, it seemed he was convinced that sleep would be in his best interest. Smiling, he took a pace forward, unbuttoning his coat and slinging it over his shoulder as he gave his son a pat on the back. "I'll see you tomorrow son, have a goodnight." Araval watched just long enough to see his father disappear behind the corner of one of many of their hallways, his stride slow and yet powerful. Distantly, he could hear the shutting of a door that could only be the bedroom belonging to his parents.

It only took a brief moment of solitude and quiet for Araval to become steadily aware of how tired he himself was, his feet seeming to carry themselves upon unaccounted will to his room, his mind fixated on the day. His arms individually unloosened themselves from his business jacket, his fingers immediately going to undo his tie and unbutton his shirt, his hands pulling off his trousers and socks, straight down to his undergarments. He left the blue button shirt made of satin cloth on as well, for he typically found his comforter scatted at the foot of his bed, and it was a cold night. He'd need it if he were to not be disturbed from his sleep. Pulling himself into bed, he sat upright, his mind not slowing down although his body had already gave in to rest. He had will enough to run his hands through his hair, his arms beginning to facade their usual capacity of strength, but not relinquishing altogether yet. This soothing gesture helped to cleanse his head of some of the stress and headache he had been feeling throughout the course of the day, but he knew that primarily, a sound sleep would be best in curing him of his occupying tension. Of course, having the day off tomorrow helped, too. On that positive thought, it didn't take long before Araval was out like a light.

He woke with a start well after the night had retreated, the rays of the sun pouring in the dark room that had once been concealed by a wall of blue curtains. With eyes adjusting, his body finding its regained nerve from lying still for hours, and his mind winding in motion to begin the day, he gradually chose a casual attire after a steaming shower and drying himself. I need something simple, not too dashing in quality but more so in satisfaction of style. Settling with being cloaked in a black leather jacket that showed off his personal demeanor of edge, placed over a equally black v-neck in which he preferred to T's, he hesitated only slightly before deciding on what else. Soon enough, he found himself fitting into what might appear to be comfortable dark blue jeans, though in actuality they had been specially designed to provide initial circulation for Araval around and below the waist, as all of his bottom attire was. It was positively needed and also desired, and something he had gotten used to as he got older, his body maturing consistently. Leaving his room as he slung a black belt around his waist, tying it with its silver buckle, he quickly slung on a pair of socks, steel-toe black boots, and his grand emblem; securing it around his neck as he ventured out the door, an umbrella in hand.

Today, he had decided on going to the other area of the district as he did fairly often now, mostly to meet up with friends in which he had graduated from school with and see what they could do around the suburbs. However, there seemed to be no luck in finding anyone in which he wanted to immediately engage with; just some acquaintances. He was about to buy a simple item from a market that had intrigued him, when an alluring voice caught his attention. He looked up, quickly locating the two that were engaged in a conversation not too far away; a girl facing towards him, but otherwise blocked by what seemed to be some cocky bloke. Araval had been about to assume his own business with the vender, but a loud slap interrupted his attention, as he diverted his eyes back to the scene, an eyebrow raised. It didn't take him long to put together the gesture and the conversation, although he didn't feel it his place to listen nor judge the situation. Until just as he was purchasing one of the items; a figure of the president it appeared, and the girl knocked straight into him, flailing backwards and sighing after regaining her composure. Immediately she shot a bitter comment at Aren, who still seemed to be surveying her actions . He eyed her curiously for a moment, his wit quick to decide how to respond. Looking around briefly in an observant way, he replied in an even tone of weight as he looked her in the eyes. "I was standing still." He had to look down at her slightly, as he was taller. Thinking quickly on the encounter, he didn't find it necessary to fire any aggressive comment back in suggestion. Simultaneously, he sensed that she seemed to also be thinking over the situation, though the particular motive wasn't for him to say. It might not be out of collected courtesy, for all he knew. So he only turned back to the vendor, exchanging his money for the presidential figure as he tucked it away in his pocket, before turning back to her. His arms became crossed though still grasped around the shaft of his umbrella, as he noticed that she was still present before him, possibly lost in her thoughts as she made eye contact with him. Upon keeping her gaze, he noticed her soft blue eyes. She was genuinely attractive, pretty in radiance he supposed. But her heated attitude was something that diverted any interest from him. Yet, judging from her lascivious conversation with the previous man, her tone had seemed to portray more then pleasantness in a commentary, but rather..hidden disgust. Could that be it?

There was a crack of thunder in the sky, and before another word could be spoken, a harsh rain began to descend upon the city. Unfolding his hands, he opened the umbrella that had been tightly wrapped, raising it to cover the both of them in the midst of the pouring downfall. "I'd say this is convenient." There was only a small trace of humor in his voice, though if you looked for it, you'd find it in a coaxing manner of ease. Otherwise, his words were uncertain in tone. They provided a warm feeling, yes, but there was an unmistakable vibe he portrayed in his speech. One might call it exclusive perhaps, but it worked for a good effect on mood amongst others at times. What's more, his words sounded sincere with openness. Initially in such a time of receiving Araval's attention, who had long been considering eloquent with words, an experience often ended in a memorable fixation. Often, people accounted for this in time, on their own. "Do you need help getting anywhere?" He asked lightly, letting the question sink in. Taking a look up at the sky in an angle, he added, "You might as well have decent company. Either way, I suppose this rain won't stop anytime soon." He hadn't anywhere to be at the moment, despite his ever occupying schedule that always seemed to follow him. But no, at most times, he found getting away from his busy life to be exactly what he needed. Such a time of this seemed perfect.
