Blaire has a roundish face with almost flawless skin. The only mark she has is a little scar above her right eyebrow. Blaire doesn’t know when or why she got that scar. It had been there as long as she could think. She has thin, curved eyebrows that sit on top of her dark grey eyes. Her nose seems to be a little too big for her face, but Blaire never cared about looks too much. Blaire has full lips that are colored in a light pink. She has a wide and friendly smile. The sixteen year old girl has chocolate brown hair that falls in soft curls down to somewhere between her chin and her shoulders.
Blaire measures 5ft 4, so she’s about average compared to the other kids her age, living in District Seven. She weighs something around 140lb, even though she never stood on a scale in all her life. In District Seven, things like looks or weight don’t count. These are things left to the people in the upper districts or the Capitol. In District Seven, it’s about survival and getting food on your family’s table.
Her parents work in the paper factory, so that is where Blaire spends the afternoons after she finished classes to earn some extra money for her family. She has well-trained muscles on her arms from carrying big loads of fresh paper through the factory building. Blaire has a lot of thin scars on her arms that come from the paper cuts she obtained while working. The most outstanding feature on her body is a big, almost star shaped port-wine stain on her left shoulder blade.

Dislikes:
Blaire is afraid of the stars. No, not just afraid, she has a terrible fear of stars. Whenever she sees those little shiny spots in the sky, she absolutely freaks out. Sometimes she just lays down on the ground, curling up into a fetal position and cry while other times she runs away, screaming. She thinks the stars are trying to catch her to do her harm. Whenever the stars come out at night, she feels like the stars are watching and haunting her.
She also is afraid to sit down. Blaire is absolutely convinced, that the stars have spies all over the place and that she has to keep moving so they can’t catch her and surrender her to the stars. That’s why she can’t sit down. She has no problems laying down in her bed to sleep but sitting down on chairs or couches is something she just can’t do. While all that doesn’t make sense to anybody else then Blaire, for her the watching stars are real.
Stars, stars, evil stars. They're everywhere. They look at me. They want to get me, want to hurt me. Stars, stars, evil stars. They're up there in the sky, they will catch me, find me. They haunt me. They watch me. Every night when they're up there in the sky, lurking, spying. Every move I make, they watch. They know I'm weak. They will get me. The only time they don't see me is when I'm laying down. When I hide underneath my blankets, hide inside houses, they can't see me. Stars, stars, evil stars. They come out at night. Sometimes they're hidden behind the clouds. I can be outside then. The clouds are my friends. They hide my steps from those ever watching stars. The sun is my friend, too. She blinds them during the day, so they don't see me. The days are safe. I can be almost normal during the days. The stars don't see me during the day. But the stars have spies. They walk around among the normal people in District Seven. I've seen them. They have stars on their clothes, stars on their bodies. Tattooed stars. They want to get me. I can't sit down. I can't rest. I have to be on my feat, walking around. I have to trick those spies. Trick them, so they can't get me. Trick the spies so they can't catch me, can't surrender me to the stars. Stars, stars, evil stars
Likes:
Blaire loves daylight and the sun shining bright in the sky. She likes the sun because in her opinion and the way she looks at the world, the sun blinds the stars so they can’t see what she is doing. She also likes the clouds, because they hide the stars at night, blindfolding them so they can’t watch what Blaire is doing.
The brunette loves her bed. Since she can’t sit down during the day, her feet usually hurt pretty bad at the end of the day and laying down on her bed to sleep is the one time when she can relax her sore muscles.
Blaire likes her group of friends, who all have to cope with different kinds of fears. With them, she can talk about her panic attacks without having to fear that they laugh at her.
Good Traits:
Blaire likes to joke around and have fun. Her smile and her friendly laughter make it easy to become friends with her. She likes to meet other people and just hang out with them. When she is with others, she seems to have no fears at all. She seems to be a normal sixteen-year-old girl even though she never sits down when meeting with others and looks around like she is looking for someone.
Blaire can be trusted one hundred percent. She is someone you can rely on. If anybody has a problem, she will listen to him and try to find a solution how that problem can be solved.
Bad Traits:
When overpowered by her fears, she can’t be herself anymore and turns into a completely different person. Once the fear takes over, she changes from the friendly and polite girl to a yelling, screaming and violent person. As soon as she sees the stars, she runs for a hiding place and knocks everybody out of the way who is standing between her and her shelter.
One time, her dad tried to force her to sit down at the table when the whole family was sitting down for dinner. He got sick of Blaire just standing next to the table, stuffing the food into her mouth as quickly as possible to escape the house and the threat of having to sit down again. He pushed her down into the chair, yelling at her. As soon as her bottom touched the chairs surface, she started screaming and hit her dad fair in the face. The black eye reminded him to never try and force her to sit down again.

Blaire grew up in District Seven. She was raised by John and Judy White. When she was eleven, she found out, John and Judy weren't her biological parents. She was adopted when she was still a toddler. She never found out, who her real parents were and why they gave her up for adoption. Her adoptive parents know, that something is wrong with Blaire, because she is so afraid of going outside at night and sitting down, but they never had time to really figure out what was wrong and why Blaire was so afraid. Life in District Seven is hard and they both have to work full time in the paper factories, so they have enough food to feed Blaire and her three siblings (one older brother and two younger sisters). Nobody knows, why they adopted Blaire in the first place, since they didn't have much money anyways. Did they know her real parents? Are they hiding something? Blaire always felt that there was something else, some sectret her adoptive parents didn’t tell her yet.
Blaire grew up as a normal child with no fears at all. Her adoptive parents raised her like one of their own kids, never hurting her or putting her to work any more than they would their own kids. Everything seemed perfect until that one evening when a ten-year old Blaire looked at herself in a mirror. She looked at the port-wine stain on her left shoulder blade that was almost star shaped. When she was a little girl, she loved the stain, thinking it made her special. People in the Capitol tattooed all kinds of things on their skin, she had heard and she was lucky enough to have such a mark given to her by nature. So she was looking at the star shaped mark on her skin when she saw a sudden movement outside her window. Starteled, Blaire ran to the window only to see a shooting star fall from the sky. Out of nowhere, she started to believe that that was a sign, that the stars watched her and sent out spies to hunt her down and catch her. That was when her fear began and it got worse over the years. At first, she was still able to walk through a starlit night, even though she kept looking over her shoulder to check that nobody followed her. As the years went on she would refrain from going outside once the had sun set and the stars had lit up in the night’s sky. During the last two years, her fear got so bad, that she wouldn’t even sit down, fearing that the spies would then be able to catch her. Blaire doesn’t realize that these fears are not real and that her explanations are far from anything reasonable. For her, the stars wanting to catch her is an inevitable truth.
Her fears cause various problems during her every day life. In school, she used to get a lot of punishment because she just won’t sit down during classes. After various classes that were disturbed by Blaire’s screams, her teachers learned, same as her adoptive dad, that Blaire could just not be forced to sit down. So she attends classes, standing in the corner of the classroom. She was never good in school and since she feels followed all the time, her attention towards classes equals almost zero. Since Blaire works in the paper factory after school finishes, she usually works until late at night. During starlit nights, she just won’t leave the factory building to go home, being too afraid to face the stars in the sky.
A few years back, she met Deimos, Alta, Lucas and the others. It was a coincidence that she found out the others had to face all kinds of different fears as well. Blaire finds it comforting that there are people similar to her and that she is not alone with her fears. Having someone to talk to and having someone who just wraps his arms around her when her fears seem to become unbearable has become very important to her. She started to spend more and more time with her group of friends and less with her family, since Deimos and the others understand what she is going through.
