Qaiue Smailli - District 7

Qaiue is of average height, and a body size that reads: Underweight. Like most boys his age, he is underfed and thus lacking in muscle. His skin is pale and ghostly from lack of sun, and his eyes are a haunted blue. His hair is an unhealthy brown that is frequently dirty, or dusty. He bears a small scar on the side of his neck, too.

The teenage boy can be found wearing a variety of t-shirts, covered always by a raincoat made of nylon, even when not raining. He keeps his hood up whenever he is afraid or alone. With this, he wears simple slacks and black boots that strap up to his shins. He looks like someone who would be a train-spotter.

Qaiue is a shy boy. He doesn't like talking to people much. He is much more of a follower than a natural leader, doing as he is told, not standing up in his beliefs. He prefers to stand around, and uses the protection of a group to it's potential, often shadowing behind someone bigger to remain overlooked.

He has Panophobia, the fear of everything. To be exact, it is the fear that some dark entity is constantly following you around, and possessing everything in sight. He developed this at a young age, and has never grown out of it. He avoids shadowy places, or dark looking figures.

He is very easily scared. Yet the young teenager gets on well with people who can relate to him. He can be quite open with people on rare occasions, explaining his fear and his views. He likes connecting with people, but isn't one to make conversation.

Despite being so afraid all the time, Qaiue does have some interests. He enjoys reading. Novella of lost age in particular. He will frequently be one to conjure up a quote from a book he read not too long ago, baffling or annoying others.

Born the second child to the Smailli family, Qaiue was always shy, from a very young age. He never interacted much with his older sister, nor the neighbor's children. He would prefer to stay at home and play with whatever toys his parents had.

Qaiue developed Panophobia young. It was due to an old woman on the street telling him that he was possessed. His parents warded off the strange woman, but the young lad developed an idea that he was indeed cursed. His parents explained carefully to him that this was not the case, this woman was mad, or drunk... Or both.

He was convinced that his parents were trying to lie to him. They were convincing him that life was so perfect and pure, when really they were demons, trying to corrupt him. He avoided his parents, very rarely speaking to them. This idea developed into something more severe. At the age of nine, Qaiue stated that his sister was possessed, hence her disgruntled attitude towards life.

It didn't end. Qaiue knew that the cooker was possessed for burning him, and that the entire house was dangerous, against him in a way. It had a bad aura, and he needed to get out. His parents told him it had gone far enough. Qaiue played them down, telling them that he may be over-reacting. Yet in his mind, he was as convinced as ever.

From then on, Qaiue has developed a fear of anything dark and mysterious. Anything odd or out of place. Spirits and demons being the masters of these anomalies. Panophobia.
