The warmth, oh god, the warmth.

It spread over her fist like a hot bath, and she laughed in wonder, enjoying the way it felt. How Riley was always washing his hands with water, and how her's were always bathed in another person's blood. Maybe Riley should try bathing himself in blood more often. Well, his hands at least. Because god damnit, the warmth was like heat that mattered even as it made her fingers slippery. she was satisfied to see his lip bleeding, the force behind the punch grinning cruelly somewhere in her hip pocket. And all the suffering, human pain could be explained away with a punch. But Teddy was quick. And he showed his own ability by punching her hard, in the arm.

It was going to bruise, well, and she could feel it. Growling in annoyance, she lifted up her left leg, and kicked herd at his knee cap, hooking his other leg with her right, providing the leverage needed.

She couldn't remember when it had started, this love for fighting.

But she took deep satisfaction in the damage she did, her mind feral as she watched Theodore limp a bit at her attack. It was like being a goddess, all she had was a bruise to her name. She knew she was cocky, but the woops and cheering around the ring fueled her, as did the sounds of blood spattering and crunching bones. She was a creature of the night, and a champion of Death, always trying to sacrifice one thing or another. It never occurred to her, that she was damaging a person as she fought. That someone else was getting physical pain. She ducked easily as he went for her head, and stuck out her foot, easily tripping him. Grinning and wiping a blood soaked hand across her lips as she held out a hand for him. That was just plain stupid, and cocky, she'd regret it soon, but she sometimes couldn't help herself, the way that a person tended to look at her when she had her foot on their chest and they were gasping for air.

The blow came fast and strong, and her head whipped to the side, while somewhere far off a bell rang. She blinked in surprise for a moment, and then started to laugh again, enjoying the way it made her head feel. She loved it, loved it, loved it. And Theodore was an excellent challenge, he didn't go down easy, that was for sure, he was going to make her work for it if she wanted to win. "THIS CROW'S GOT A BEAK!" she roared, her voice cascading over the din of the spectators, even as she felt the stickiness of blood from the thumping, oozing quietly out of her head, minding it's own business. She loved a challenge, and it looked like Teddy was going to be one.

But still, that had hurt her pride. She wasn't a petty person, but it didn't mean she wouldn't give some payback. It was a cheep move, she knew it, especially with his hurt knee, but all's fair in Fight Club, and she had never signed up to be a polite princess either. Fight or die, was pretty much the only way to go about it, so she slipped in and tripped him again, left leg hooking his weak one.
